I’ll give it a go - tbh i was wondering whether to stick the Rangemaster last in the effects loop as the helix seems to eat it up a bit! I’ve been told a couple of times my solos werent loud enough

This of interest, very much so in fact as it could have just saved me about £500 I was after getting a Sustainiac put in my Charvel….however this seems to have practically the same effect bar the actual sustain i imagine - which I’d seldom use anyway + the helix could get out of a compressor

Dealio It’s quite a shock for people who come over to see the pedalboards like. All I use is Wah > @BlastronautBoost > JHS KILT V2 > Helix The helix effects I use are proper simple too. I use the Retro Reel for a nice vibrato effect, tape delay & sometimes a univibe. It’s just good to know I have a high grade adjustable copy of practically every conceivable pedal on my board 😎

Thanks man- we’ve looked at USA but its super fucking expensive! We’ve got a whole shed load of stuff on next year…including an album tour for the record we made in may with Duncan Lloyd, an album launch in london for a magazine, and a full tour with a band we may have played with before…. and we’ve not really started yet

Tour all done and dusted, we had some struggles at first but overall it was absolutely fucking class & I feel super privileged to have been able to do it. Also feel like it strengthened the friendships among the group - which is important as we havent been together that long. Played some absolutely amazing shows, somehow people in Brussels knew the words & were singing louder than the PA at one point, they brought signs & threw roses on the stage at the end? Very strange So we did, Brussels/Duisburg/Köln/Hannover/Leipzig/Berlin/Göttingen/Rotterdam. Paris* & Amsterdam** were cancelled. *Venue financial troubles **Soundguy hospitalised 😳 We were so tired toward the last show we played quite poorly - or at least to our standards and it turned out to be the most pro venue we’ve ever played and the whole thing was recorded. FML

So….our Rotterdam gigs were successful, great place to play music, wonderful city & people. The Les Paul headstock break not so good So far it looks like a slight crack in the wood/lacquer & is slightly structurally compromised - next time it pops! Also there’s two almost black mineral flecks on the back on the guitar, which i can only attribute to the cabin pressure on the boat!?
