    Steve Bruce

Mans a traitor in my eyes, hope he never graces the Newcastle hotseat. IF he's in charge during a derby, would be very interesting to see what reception he would get at SJP.
  2. Dont understand this transfer target bollocks like, considering the club is up for sale, so therefore no finacial backing and we don't have a pernament manager!? Confused.com
  3. No trying to start a war, but... The PS3 is simply gash

8 games, 1 win out of 3 winnable ones. utter shite. dowie would do better than shearer, cheers for the memory alan but you're no manager. 8 games, with a squad who has zero confidence and no wins in 16 odd games, yet you expected a miraculous turnaround. We were riddled with injuries, a stale midfield, and a crippled defense through injuries and suspensions. The basics weren't even important before Shearer arrived and the training was a breeze. Our strikers couldn't shoot for shit!! He was appointed at the time to give the supporters hope, and hope for the future, yet he's critisiced before he's really got his teeth into the job and with the immense pressure to avoid relegation. Stunning. he said he believed there was enough quality in the squad to keep us up, he obviously never got the most out of the quality. whenever we lost we went out with a whimper, and our strikers still can't "shoot for shit". and yes, within 8 games i did expect a turn around, he was hired to keep us up. he said he believed he could do it. he didn't. he failed. move on alan. What the fuck did you want him to say?? We're all slow, the midfield is non existent, each and everyone of the strikers deserve a hiding, the defence is like the Benny Hill show, and Harper has recently shown the athleticism of Robbie Coltrane?!?!?! That would've done wonders for the confidence. If there's one thing I always hoped would be a positive of relegation is lowering the number of fuckwits who support this club, but I would guestimate there are at least 100 accounts of people on here pretending to be toon fans who aren't... The hardcore will show through Stevie, and the plastic shite will disappear.
  5. You got a season ticket like Suraj? His location is London, so i assume he doesn't.

Inexperience. The players who played in our colours, in our stadium, who enjoy a healthy pay packet are all heartless, cold and generally don't give a fuck about what happened to us. The majority of them couldn't give a fuck about Newcastle United, aslong as they were getting payed, to our demise they probably have their sneaky agents on standby preparing moves to other clubs age before Shearer entered. Not one player is a natural leader in that dressing room, nobody could manipulate the midfield and create chances and nobody could command the backline. Exceptions; Beye (End of Fulham match) and Taylor (Breathes Nufc). Its not Alan's fault its the players, who generally aren't good enough to compete in the PL. move on tcmag
  7. It really is your all-time aspiration to take over the reigns from your fellow partner and tool, Douglas B. He jumped ship, so should you.

Good riddiance! He's had too many bloody chances to even contemplate a future at this football club, fair enough he's a decent player and probably would do well in the Championship, however its clear Shearer's opinion on him and if he continues to be manager then I certainly wouldn't be suprised if he was shipped off to Bolton as soon as the transfer window opened.
  10. Also just played the demo; immense. The graphics are probably the best I've seen on the 360, the boxers themselves look brilliant, and the sweat and blood look too realistic. The pyhsics meanwhile are genuinely class and the realism when you land a haymaker looks stunning. Definite purchase!
  11. You're a wank WUM btw Boring one aswell.
  12. I can't answer until the uncertainty over Shearer and the clubs finances, also which players leave, stay and who we bring in.
  13. This is slowly becoming teedious. Give the man the contract and lets re-build ffs.
  14. Substitution: On - Tevez Off - Anderson
  15. Demo released tomorrow on Xbox Live Marketplace. The demo will include two boxers; Hatton and Pac-man
  16. I want Barca to win, however if I was a betting man I'd go with a 2-0 Man United win. Looking forward to this, and hoping both Messi and Ronaldo have a blinder.
  17. Depends where you sit; cheapest where the family enclosure, but I wouldn't reccomend it.
  18. Thought the SSN newsreader said Keith Barrett was leading a consortium. Silly me
  19. I agree tbh I know he's only had 8 games and all but i've seen no sign at all that he's going to be a good manager. Most of the time he just sits on his arse and lets Dowie do the work. If we had even a remote chance of getting Martinez in, I'd be far more open to that than Shearer staying on. I think there have been positives in what he's said and what experienced players like Duff have said about him. But I agree on the pitch we saw very little improvement. Given what he had to work with that's not surprising though and as such I'm still very much in favour of his appointment. Lads, he had EIGHT games. That's EIGHT. He had to work with a completely disheartened and shell-shocked squad whose confidence was absolutely shattered from the months (ok, years) of turmoil and bad results. That and most of the players weren't good enough. You reckon Wenger or Ferguson would have done much better in 8 games? Shearer has realised what needs to be done and he's probably told fatty exactly what he thinks. I dont care if he hasn't managed before - Keegan hadn't first time round and look what happened then. I reckon we've just got to give him a chance tbh. As long as he gets rid of players like CocaColaccini who haven't got the heart for a fight then I'll be happy with that as a start. FuckinPlusOne.
  20. thats true, but why has he put out this statement before appointing alan, surely it would have been best to say this and then end with "that's why alan has been appointed etc etc" let's hope there hasn't been a sticking point!! You do get a feeling that there's a catch in place, like in his cheap sportwear offers.
  21. At least he kinda spoke, and we now know his main intention is to keep Shearer. Hopefully...
