I actually can't believe Louise Taylor has actually written a positive peice on this football club.

Why are we the only football club that actually seems to require some unknown banking investment company in order to fuel a takeover.

Which is what some people dont seem to realise. I realised it. It's a bit of an oversimplification to suggest that that means he isn't much good though. Someone mentioned we won more games when he wasn't playing. No idea if that's true but that's another oversimplication obviously. Especially when we only won 7 all season. It's oversimplication at its finest, but I don't see the hype and attention he got here. Why bring it up then, if it's proves nothing? Fair enough if you don't rate him. Still its something to be aware of, and that it's not all that great. He was a stroppy French unknown, and after a run of games he was portrayed as brilliance, the end of the season run showed me his true colours tbh, after he got sent off at the most crucial time of the season. Beye stands as a better player for me and for possibly half the fee and two stable years, he would have been worth the money, then again I'd be devestated if Habib left. I think we'll have to agree to differ on Bassong then. Absolutely no chance of Beye staying btw and I don't blame him but how can you have a pop at Bassong for his behaviour (I'm assuming that's what the stroppy French comment is about) but then not see that Beye's behaviour in the close season is on a par? I don't blame either of them btw. I don't think it's exactly fair to make a direct comparison between an experienced international and a young kid playing his first season in the PL either. Having said that, Bassong had a far better season imo. Beye dedicated himself to the cause after relegation, obviously things have changed as Shearer has moved on. I also don't blame Bassong either in leaving just the fact he acted unproffessionally when being asked to travel by bus, and decided not to, consequently he was fined. That's a fairly minor thing under the circumstances. Not that I agree with it. Is it any different or more disruptive than Beye coming out and saying he wants to leave on numerous occasions or, for that matter, his saying Chris Hughton is not a manager? I'm not having a go at Beye but I don't see how one is worse than the other. Also, Bassong supposedly was willing to stay if Shearer was appointed. Again, what's the difference? If Beye did say Hughton wasn't a manager, then he's spot on and thinks what the majority of this board does on the matter. Beye has a right to come out and declare 'wanting out', considering he's in his final years and wants to be playing in the best leauge, as he stated previously he wanted to end his career here, but obviously short-term wise that doesn't look acheivable.

SSN are as clueless as the rest of us.

The odd bong would also be a worthy addition.

If Lousie Taylor confirms that it's a 60/40 chance he'll takeover then it must be true.

He was a good player, but the valuation of him is way overpriced. I also disliked the manner he went about securing a move away, and sobbing about a single coach trip shows how soppy he was. Angry wank for Danny over this.

In scale of graphics and story, Saints Row doesn't come near to those features that are GTA's main highlights. I preferred the original Saints, because it seemed fresh at the time, however I thought the sequel was a bit cramped and felt slightly rushed, it remains a good game and very fun to play.

Its been a tiring few days, so apologies if I've seemed like a moody cunt lately.

can the mods do something about the language here, i worship at the church of the mound of venus and this is very offensive and if it continues im leaving Just a publicity stunt from a powerless man, he was never offered a contract.

Kinnear will never accept the job as manager for me, I feel as if he knows after all of last seasons chaos, that he'd be abused not only by the media but the fans.
-
A good signing, still no major signing for the back four who are without Cannavaro.
-
You say that but Hughton took the training while Kinnear hid in his office anyway. The fact that happened and they still (if this is true - I can believe it like) want him back shows an incredible level incompetence upstairs. Draws are better than losses accompained with a Woolies clipboard.

I thought Glue was better than Porno (although the latter is good too). It has a few of the characters from Trainspotting that crop up in it as well. It might just be the best book of his I've read. It's the first book I've read from Welsh, and will be picking up both Porno and Glue. Wouldn't mind checking his short story catalouge, and especially E. What are your opinions on T.spotting? 'Trainspotting' is great imo. As for 'Ecstasy: 3 Chemical Romances', it was alright, but not his best work (still good stuff though). I thought 'The Acid House' was better (short stories collection). 'Marabou Stork Nightmares' by him (3rd book / 2nd novel iirc) is quality too and one that a lot of people seem to have missed. I've also read 'Filth' which was canny good although not my favourite. Cheers, definitely going to read the majority of his books. I need more reccomendations on novels about addicts who describe there trips, tramua, abuse and views on society, please.
