Decided to get back into the FM series, and started a game with Newcastle, as you can see below it's not going too bad at the moment. The only significant signing I've made is Insua on loan, and I got rid of Butt through mutual consent.

Some bad bad bad rumours doing the rounds on Tyneside at the moment. Not things that should be put up on here imo but I'm sure most from round here know them. I think we'll draw 2-2 we should've at home to be honest to them. Seems literally last week Bassong was making his debut there to chants of who the fucks 46 or something like that. well since you're well aware that I'm not from "round here" perhaps you could indulge me Sorry, I didn't mean it to sound like that. I'm sure the likes of Peasepud know them, but it's the type of stuff that get websites in to trouble. All I'll say is young lasses related to Gateshead nasties. Definitely no smoke without fire, given the fact he's been put back in club digs. I reckon this could be a tricky little match, considering Doncaster recent form, which has been very good. In truth, we do have a superior squad compared to Doncaster, and should have enough to see them off, but how many times have we said that this season when it comes to playing away? Draw.

What happened to this CT? Has one campaign in the Championship suddenly changed your opinion on the current regime, and if so how? To simply put it were a joke, seriously if you see any positive outlook when we return to the Premiership, then you're clearly misguided, and the best outcome is survival, although that requires sufficent backing in the transfer window, which given Ashley's record that doesn't look too positive, so you're suggesting we give him another chance? Sporting currently drawing 1-1 with Athletico Madrid, unfortunately we couldn't see Sporting's equaliser due to ITV's Europa Leauge coverage which has currently went tits up and I'm now watching an advertisement instead of the actual match. I've got Sporting on my treble, which is the reason I'm expressing my anger. Edit: Coverage resumed after the adverts.

Fulham have took advantage of the sending off and Gera has scored, making it 3-4 on aggregate and a 2-1 scoreline at half time.

Interesting match at Craven Cottage currently, Trezequet scored first within the first two minutes and then Fulham replied fairly quickly from a Zamora strike. Cannavaro has just received his second yellow card of the match which consequently means Juventus are down to ten men, with a good hour remaining in the match. (2-4 on aggregate) Live on ESPN.

Liverpool match: Kuyt to score first 5/1 and Liverpool to win 3-0 at 6/1.

The Acid House by Irvine Welsh. An unsettling, shocking and very funny collection of short stories, only half way through at the moment and I'd highly reccomend it like most of Welsh's books.

Ahem next elder scrolls young man and yes they are http://www.wired.com/gamelife/2008/10/bethesda-wants/ or should be Seems a bit obvious that Oblivion V won't be released this year, and I'm rather unsure on the idea of it possibly becoming a MMORG, perhaps if the next installment added multiplayer the same as what Two Worlds introduced, but obviously without the lag, crashes and glitches. I'd rather Bethseda focused on the single player aspect of Elder scrolls as Morrowind and Oblivion have both been very succesful without added MP. In fact I hope Bethseda choose not to add MP because as seen with Two Worlds, it was absolutely shit. The game itself was horrible and the added online was even worse. If Bethseda did infact make a succesful online Elder scrolls.. It was bad, but the overall concept of the multiplayer would have been brilliant if it was executed properly, and also consider that the Polish developers Reality Pump don't exactly have the budget to create a game at a very high standard, that said it must've made sufficient sales to warrant a sequel. Skipping P.E again?

Very good purchase indeed Kevin, although in the past I've been critical, it's still a brilliant game and worthy of its ratings and overall reception. When playing Fallout, I've enjoyed it, the graphics after a while do begin to grind, and the FPS aspect of it is unpolished, but then again it is an RPG, but creating a sub-franchise (New Vegas) is a very poor move from Bethesda tbh. I dearly hope there main team is secretly working on the next Oblivion, and stop branching into different genres of gaming as proven by WET, which was terrible and stick to what Bethesda do best; role-playing games.
