He was fucking on the pitch 4 minutes or something? Now Geordie Lad I would normally enjoy reading these but this has just took the biscuit completely. And even branding Guthrie at 6.5 is a bit light, he did well. Shola aswell you can't rate him he didn't get a touch of the ball for fook sake. Buck up or buck off ! I agree completely on the Guthrie point, I thought he was a big participant in the middle and attacked very quickly, rather harsh on your rating there, suprised you rated Nolan tonight considering you're one of his biggest critics.

A fair enough aproach to the upcoming season, but I don't think I could personally adapt to that. Meanwhile, its pretty fair overall, and not too exagerated like CT, who is currently living life in a dreamworld too far from reality.

I like Paulo Sousa but i dont think Swansea would be strong enough. With their current sqaud, I agree with you that they're not currently strong enough for the Premier Leauge, however I do think with a few neat signings they could improve that vastly, and their organisation and posession play would be enough to keep them up. Paulo Sousa seems a good manager, and I hope he does get them promoted. Using that logic, looking at Swansea squad then surely newcastle would stay up comfortably then? That's a total different subject, and for too complex for this current topic, but you're correct on the logic, and perhaps a decent transfer budget could define our survival next season, but that depends with Mike though . Why is it complex? Quite simple really...we have a better squad that Swansea, we are organised...so if a 'few neat signings" is enough for them to stay up then the same for us would mean us staying up too? Simples. It's quite obvious were above Swansea in most departments, it's also shows that their organisation in defense is slightly better currently, as it stands they've got the best defensive record in the Championship, although in terms of squad depth they're much weaker. My main point on survival is based on the actions of the incredibly incompetent Mr.Ashley, which is the reasons behind my pessismism.

I can see this ending at 1-1 tbh, Tyson opening the scoring for Forrest and then Chopra to get a cheeky equaliser at the end, .

Predicting 3-0, with a 50.000 crowd and Lovenkrands to open the scoring.

No, idiot boy, a Good chairman wouldn't have got us relegated, a Good chairman would have seen that relegation is far more costly than an initial £20m outlay for new players) Sorry I should have written it in crayon for you, investment doesn't have to be pounds now does it. I meant people who actually feel the heartbeat of this club, not people who, like yourself seem to ride the good times and never suffer the bad. I meant an emotional investment. I'd also like to say that we've all thrown money at the club, so I wouldn't really use that as some kind of proof of your quality as a fan. Nope, I'm willing to forgive and forget when he redresses the balance. And you're willing to chant his name when the scales are most definitely not in the fans favour, so I'm not sure where you drag your righteousness from on this score? You say yourself you don't go to away games and you said yourself you only came back on board for the 90's Keegan era. You're a glory hunter and that's just weak. I'll again reiterate, Investment does not always mean money. fwiw Ashley has improved in my eyes since the beginning of the season. He's now a couple of places above Hitler and Stalin. Its astounding to say the least Fish, it emphasises such a typical figurehead he's became for the Pro Ashley brigade, even though a self-confession proves the credibilty of his support, .

Are you fucking mental? Headfuck of the century. When Shearer was managing, all the kids loved those cow horn thingys and had great fun with them. Seriously, just read that to yourself, actually read it out aloud, and please come to terms with how pathetic you sound. Im guessing 15, bit of bumfluff on the chin, not had a real girl yet but have found yourself paying a bit too much interest to the other boys in the shower Cracking assumption CT, hands down for you being down with the kids again, streetwise cabbie indeed. You're just the type, you really do fit the bill, you're so easy to exploit, anything that'll re-ignite Ashleys positives to negatives argument once again. "I also hope the team and Hughton stay on the pitch at the end for a standing ovation.": This in paticular, why bacause you'll be francticly clapping away, with a bairn on shoulders, living the dream, not realising it's a promotion to hell. So go and buy a Chelsea strip Suprised you can really question my loyalty as a support after you've claimed to haved re-ignited a modest interest in NUFC since the Special K dream was installed, and then that was vastly diminished by your so-called 'As Good as it Gets' prophet. TBH i couldnt give a shit about your loyalty Likewise, then again your loyalty is constantly scrutinised, isn't it?

You're the only person who is issuing out melodramatic piffle.

Are you fucking mental? Headfuck of the century. See your just a misery guts. When Shearer was managing, all the kids loved those cow horn thingys and had great fun with them. Yeah, just like how Mike decided to turn the majority of Level 7 into a creche. Now thats a whole seperate argument, but the next generation of Toon Army has to start somewhere and what better than at the match with mam and dad. Im sure theres quite a few new dads on here who cant wait to take their little un to the game. You're a real simpleton. "A match with Mam and Dad", seriously get a fucking hold of yourself.

How did you get rid of Butt? Never played him, which leads to constant mentions of him from your staff in these meetings, the press then pick up on it and then I declared he'll never play again for us (do this a few times), and then attempt to agree mutual termination, which suprisingly worked, I managed to get rid of him around November.
-
After this solid performance I reckon we'll hammer Nottingham Forrest on Monday night, which would surely end their chances of achieving automatic promotion.

Get in!

I really can't believe what am reading on this forum lately. All i seem to see is a lot of hypocrites. Barton got so much grief when his 'rocky' moments happened, some calling for NUFC to get rid of him. The boo's, the talk on forums etc And now its Carroll's turn by twating Saylor and breaking his jaw? You's should all be behind Saylor and be giving Carroll shit, not backing him. It seems we're the laughing stock of the nation. Riera expresses his opinion on Liverpool and is transfer listed immediately. Carrol smacks Saylor and keeps him out for the rest of the season, and people are glad he starts? Some need to sort themselves out. I honestly hope someone crunches Carroll tonight and ends his career, because personally I dont want him at the club. And for those who think they'd rather have Carroll over Saylor? I think some have been blinded by top spot and success and forgotten that we're in the fizzy pop league. Barton is a different matter considering he's always been a consisent offender, I don't think this is as serious as stubbing out a cigarette in a fellow players eye or perhaps ganging up on some poor fucker in a shabby McDonald's either, I also think you've got the wrong impression on my previous post, I'm not here to support some high-school facade (Taylor vs Carroll), for me it's about what happens on the pitch tonight and I hope Carroll does score and we take three points, regardless what has went on, that can be dealt within the next six days till our next game. On the example of Riera, you can hardly compare Chris Hughton's discipline to Benitez, considering we all know he's got the hearts for certain players in our squad (why do you thing Butt is starting for? ).
-
Good to see he's starting tbh, he's currently just hit form and his scrap with Taylor is less significant than taking home three points.

That is fucking perfect, 3pm kick-off, my 17th brithday and hopefully cracking weather.
