  1. Ah well, hes a class player, and clearly he put the effort in yesterday to sell himself. I just wish he'd done this a bit earlier in the transfer market.. Atleast this way Zogger will probably start playing in the right possition, with Enrique or a replacement at LB (Unless he was just playing to be sold as well ¬.¬)
  2. sentanta headline 'newcastle cruise to 3-2 victory' I like it.
  3. Anyone got a stream with pre match interviews and stuff on? Edit - nvm got it
  4. atleast our fittness should shine through?
  5. Michael Owen, Steve Harper, Steven Taylor, David Edgar, Ryan Donaldson, Nile Ranger 2 17 year old strikers in Donaldson and Ranger

  7. Looks like enriques playing for his place here, is doing pretty well as well, seems to of improved his passing and crossing a bit
  8. Didnt touch it, Milners goal. still yet to see a decent pass from Geremi, nice run though
  9. Wheres the love, fellas, should be setting examples
  10. Was milner - number 16, commentry was wrong Agree'd with Geremi, hopefully he'll put in atleast 1 quality pass - Anotehr good Milner shot there deflected , thought it was in for a second
  11. Same with Zogger in his midfield roll
  12. I remain confident there's no way that was all intentional. Good recovery and improvisational skills, yes. ... deliberate from the start, no. Tugay done more or less the same thing for Boro at the weekend but didn't cap it off with a goal Have Blackburn sold him ?? He meant Tuncay ¬.¬ But yeah, they werent quite the same thing, great skill none the less
  13. The view from the dug-out: Keegan pledges to win back fans Aug 24 2008 by Neil Farrington, Sunday Sun KEVIN KEEGAN last night pledged to bring stayaway fans back to St James’s Park. But the Newcastle boss will make it clear at a midweek summit with owner Mike Ashley that he needs new signings to make good on that promise. Newcastle saw off Bolton in front of their smallest league crowd since Gallowgate was extended at the turn of the century. The offer of a free pint to early-arriving fans and the return of cash turnstiles could not disguise a significant shortfall in season-ticket sales on Tyneside. And while Keegan is convinced his side – fourth in the Premier League after a solid start to the season – can tempt disaffected supporters to return, yesterday’s game emphasised the importance of him getting his way at Wednesday’s boardroom summit. A new contract for Michael Owen was already top of the agenda, but transfers are an equal priority after injuries to Obafemi Martins and Damien Duff. “Why were there 5,000 empty seats? I don’t have the answer,” said Keegan. “But the fact that we have started off with four points from two games will help, as will the quality of the players we have signed. “All I know is that it’s my job is to pick a team to win games, but it’s a time of year when a lot of people are on holiday, a lot of other people might not have received their tickets and you must not underestimate how hard times are for people now.” But there is no doubting the need for Keegan to be supported in his wish to tie up Owen’s future and bring in three more new faces before the close of the transfer window. Asked if Owen’s winning cameo had strengthened his bargaining position with the board, Keegan said: “You’ll have to ask them, but I would have thought it’s done it no harm. “We’ve got to get an agreement and that’s got to be right for both parties. “Michael wants to stay – he likes it here – and I think we are very close. But I will know more on Wednesday.”
  14. Good player, but to old and hasn't done to well at chelsea - don't think we'll sign him (hope not anyway)
  15. Anyone we would replace him with woudln't be anywhere near as good, and we'd have to pay stupid prices and wages to get that anyway - keep hold of the lad, I don't say it much about players , but hes worth it
  16. foul on the ref nice tackle + run from milner there and there we go.
  17. Aye, but instead he used them as binoculars or something
  18. Yeah - the first, maybe hour of the film was good but as soon as the other people turned up it went somewhat downhill - not for that reason, but it just did.
  19. Each year teaching will improve because they've seen more and more previous papers, and people come up with better and better methods for doing stuff. When I did my history gcse (changed the papers now I think), and my AS level RE paper, every possible topic and question had been brought up - so teachers could just give people a list of all the questions ever released, and there owuld be a 100% chance the person had previously seen the question. Same applies in all subjects, there are only so many questions that can be brought up. Edit : that said if you want to do really well you still haev to work hard. I dossed my gcses and still got off pretty well, nothing lower than a B - but I know I could of done a whole lot better had i put the effort in
  20. Got to allow 8 scripts on that page, and I still can't see it. Nothing interesting, like Was just a 45 second interview where the quotes are fro
