how the fuck was that a freekick, or a penalty for that matter What a shit ref.
-
3 penalties already this season - only gave away one last season in the last game didn't we? thats us well and truly fucked
-
Martin Allen is/was another one. Him and Holloway are probably both mental enough to consider the toon job. Holloyway would be a laugh - would continue the tradition of ditching a manager every few months as well
-
Well hes the only person at the club with any footballing background bar the training staff, just highlights how much of a mess it all is.

Press Release From true faith and the The Mag
JonGoodwyn replied to Scottish Mag's topic in Newcastle Forum
Aye, we all knew this already, but atleast this way there'll be some unity about it, and it'll spread the word a lot more. -
I could live with that until Ashley sold the club and someone new was brought in Realistically hes the best we can do right now probably, hes had a good managerial career and his teams play good football. Has tended to have a massive spazz when he doesnt get the investment he wants/his own way.. Someones edited his wiki page already

The club statement is jaw droppingly crass - who the fuck are these people I know its the final fucking straw - theres no way back for them now.
-
Wasted my time, just sent an email with words to that effect to a whole lot of newspapers, for some reason (because it made me feel better )
-
Thats got me fucking fuming infact i'm so pissed off i've just written a few dozen emails to all the newspapers I can think of about it - fat lot of good it will do anyway.
-
And the tone of the statement just pisses me off even more.

After the news settled in on Tuesday I started to think with my head a bit more than my heart. Tried to take the owners/middle management view... And after being gutted all over again tonight I can still see that line of thought. They can't comprehend Keegan's connection with the club. Our recent history is the likes of Allardyce and Souness bringing in their expensive flops which have had to be replaced season after season as the manager walks off with a payout. A long term vision minimises that risk. I can't comprehend them not keeping it as a mutual agreement approach though. Why did it work well for 3 months of the window only to fall apart so miserably on the very last day? They had to have taken the piss, big style. One day someone will get to the bottom of it all and it'll all come clear as to what really happened.

Fucking spot on top stuff
-
Very few peopel will of ditched their season tickets - and if they do they'll sure as hell regret it in a few months, regardless of how things are going. Thats part of the problem, this club is in a complete mess, but its not something we can just give up on
-
I want to see the club statement, to see how they put a spin on it
-
Would be a dream if that happened, but Ashley seems much to stubborn to sell - I think he'll put up with it for a good few months before he even considers selling. Hope i'm wrong though, have been about a lot of things over the last few weeks..

Get fucked you daft cunt

Aye, well not 3 years ago. Honestly havent felt this bad for a long long time. This club is in a very very poor situation. Won't get a good manger, board loathed, poor attendences, won't attract players, wholesale player revolt. Am really worried for the future. But right now I'm not thinking about that.
-
And get keegan back in?
-
I'm up for doing the first one - will be the clearest statement - yes boycotting food/sales would hit them more financially, but I think a good few thousand peopel turning up late will hit home more than 'oh we lost a few on drinks' KK chants all game goes without saying.

No don't 'boycourt' it
