Berbatov: The most pointless signing of the season?
JonGoodwyn replied to Park Life's topic in Newcastle Forum
I'm sure united got a lot of shirt sales from signing Berbatov as well -
Best team we could put out, imo - its a shame Nolans in there, but hopefully we'll do something against a team equally as shit as us. Looking forward to it but absolutely shitting it at the same time

Berbatov: The most pointless signing of the season?
JonGoodwyn replied to Park Life's topic in Newcastle Forum
Surely Xisco was more pointless, and Bullard - cost a lot and barely played, offering nothing. I'm sure Berbatov has been at least 7 times more useful than either of them, so pound for pound has been less pointless -
He clearly doesn't give a fuck - represents a lot of whats wrong with the club at the moment. Clueless, only in it for the money, can't be arsed, massive cost, shit. Hes in the pes 06 world 11 though, so he isn't all bad.

Sam Allardyce -
Aye, in the group stages and for a quarter final apparently

Our lass claims shes never watched a full game of football in her life, yet she persistantly asks me how newcastle are doing this season, either shes genuinely interested or shes a sadistic bitch

Supposed to be like Tony Yeboah's all those years ago but better by all accounts... Came off his shin tbh

Every time I see the back it looks more and more shit

Sir Bobby: Don't blame Mike Ashley for Newcastle's decline
JonGoodwyn replied to Jimbo's topic in Newcastle Forum
A good read, its clearly not all Ashleys fault, but a lot of it is and most of it can be traced back to him in one way or another. -
I still can't believe he actually said that

Might that activate his other 6 game ban that was hanging over him? -

Can't even hear the liverpool fans -
But when he was managing us it was all our fault

Harper Beye Colo Bassong Duff Guthrie Barton Smith Viduka Owen Martins We won't do much worse playing like that than if we played a more defence 4-4-2 or 4-5-1 as unofrunatly its unlikley we'll keep a clean sheet. The team may as well get used to playing like that, as they didn't appear to have much of an idea of what they were doing yesterday
-
Some glimmers of hope - if we carry on where we left of we'll surely socre
-
Just get Barton on, can't be any slower even if he isn't fully fit
-
Same old shit through balls so far Enrique down..
-
Aye, 11 behind the ball in the final 3rd, Crouch pacing along the half way line when our defence have it. Can't see Crouch playing well on the break, mind. Will probably rely on set pieces if they're looking for anything
-
Hopefully Smith Butt and Duff will be able to thread a few passes through to the front 3 - i'm sure they'll have been working on that a hell of a lot

Frank Lampard - "My mum's dead, don't you know?"

For an average footballer, probably. For your average house pet, maybe not. He has an IQ of over 150, which is in the top 0.1% of the population. He certainly doesn't come over as stupid the way he presents his argument in that 'interview' bollocks I thought that sounded a wee bit high tbf. I bet it was one of those online ones that takes 2 minutes. a stat straight of wikipedia that one and the GCSE one, even though the GCSE one has been ballsed up in transit He gained an A* in his Latin GCSE[5], one of the 12 GSCEs he took not "gainded 12 GCSEs most of which were A*" Ignoring how daft those test are, there's nothing to suggest any IQ score there, be it 75 or 160. Just that it was significantly high compared to his team and was one of the highest the company had recorded (which means nothing if they just started up the day before or who their usual clientele were etc.). Edit - not a bad school though http://www.brentwoodschool.co.uk/ http://www.metro.co.uk/sport/oddballs/arti...p;in_page_id=46
