  1. The fact that over 6% of people who vote are stupid enough to go with the BNP is far more depressing than the the darkies coming in and "stealing" "our" jobs, "ruining" the economy and "enforcing their opinions on us".
  2. Aye, common misconcption. Its hardly surprising though - If you invade an island you don't kill everyone thats lives there and replace them - that would mean killing a few million people, then shipping over another few million across the channel, they just adapt and embrace the culture. Not that that has anything to do with the subject. I think its relevant. What your saying is, what I'm saying isn't - I just wanted to show off

  4. Anyone that even considers voting BNP is a moron, without exception.
  5. http://www.wired.com/listening_post/2008/04/a-scientific-at/ Not a bad attempt.
  6. Most Stupidly rich people aren't stupid (bar ashley, of course) and would like to remain rich - they aren't going to pay stupid over the odds prices for things.
  7. And the extensive talks with Keegan
  8. “I have a contract for three years with Newcastle," Enrique told Marca. "Nobody wants to play in the Championship, but I’m thinking only of fulfilling my contract. “The team has great resources and I am sure that if things go well from the start we can be a team to match Aston Villa. “I like the city and I am very happy in England, but that does not stop anyone considering an offer that might arrive from another team. “As it stands today, I see myself playing next season at Newcastle.” Sounds like he wouldn't be to upset if he had to move. I hope he stays though
  9. Not so sure, the lad seems to have principles, they're fucking stupid warped principles, but he seems to think he owes us one (he fucking well does) I think he'd be willing to sign a reduced contract if he has to stay here. As its been mentioned, preferably we should shift him for whatever fee we can get, but if he stays we can't afford a 60k a week signing rotting in the reserves. We could even send him ouit on loan if worst comes to worst
  10. I'd be surprised if we didn't end up with at least one of that lot
  11. If they want to get promoted they'd certianly need to either change ground or update their stadium quite a lot, kingsmeadow barely qualifies for the BSP conference as its mostly terraces - I guess it would be a bit like the situation Stevenage were in a few years ago, when they were in a promotion position but weren't promoted. An AFC (and about 3 other clubs) supporter I know seems to think they don't want to get promoted yet, as they've exceeded all expectations and still want to remain semi-pro for at least a bit longer.
  12. I don't think its much to do with jealousy, really. Every fan dislikes most other clubs, for little or no reason - the vast majority would find it hilarious if Everton went down, or Spurs went into administration. The fact that the media constantly ram Newcastle down the throats of everyone, good or bad, probably annoys people, but not so much out of jealousy
  13. He hasn't come out and said how great the fans/club are at all this seaon, IIRC but hes always been quick to do it several times in his previous seasons. I think hes been thinking about leaving since at least January. I like the lad, but hes more of a luxury; you can't rely on someone like that in a relegation scrap.
  14. Gives the impression that Ashleys trying to be a sneaky bastard with the contract, or Shearer is looking very hard to make sure he isn't
  15. Don't Everton use Football manager for scouting as well?
  16. Jonas looks likely to be off, same with Geremi probably. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11678_5348343,00.html
  17. I hope that 15 players over 15k is a stat pulled from straight from her arse, otherwise it means the likes of Ameobi and R.Taylor are on 50k a week. Owen, Martins, Barton, Duff, Viduka, Smith will be for sure. Probably Geremi, Butt, Cacapa, Beye. Possibly Coloccini, Harper and Jonas. Surely not Enrique and Xisco as they're in their early 20s
  18. The Sun says his agent did, anyway
  19. They give around 2,000 to away fans apparently. Was 1,700 for Reading anyway according to some website.
  20. Aye, relegation battle should be a laugh next year, especially as we won't have to worry about it for a change
  21. In an ideal world i'd keep Beye - Taylor - Bassong - Enrique ? - ? - Guthrie - Duff Viduka - (possibly Martins) Desperately need cover for fullbacks, a right midfielder who can cross and take on players (preferably two) at least 2 new centre midfielders who can put in a good through ball and have the legs to track back and defend as well as go forward. I think we all know that already though
