  1. Havertz is an A grade cunt, which we already knew of course but how has he got away with two clear red card decisions against us in recent history? Last time he went on to score, if he does here as well we'll have to get Klopp on the case.
  2. That's such horseshit, what a moron referee. If you can't expect and allow players to get fired up when their own player is shockingly fouled then what are they wanting? Robotic emotionless matches? That was bordering on farce.
  3. It's brilliant. He looked ordinary under Bruce, but didn't put a foot wrong under Howe. Until he did and it snapped his ACL and tore his meniscus. Absolutely devastating stuff. He's been there throughout his recovery, with the team, at the games, in the photos, determined to fully recover and get back into the squad. Kudos to the lad for doing so in this fashion, with the additional guidance from Wilson on his recovery. Seems to be an intelligent player who will continue to benefit greatly from the tactical Howe, both of them always learning and striving to improve. Hope he can stay injury free and play an important role for us.
  4. Is it confirmed to be her though? It did look like her but was vhs quality from distance. My 20+ year old recollection.
  5. If you watched the game today and singled out Miggy then you've got an unnatural problem with him. Gordon has been great for us but he was off today, didn't have the usual sprite in his legs. Trippier had an absolute stinker. If Almiron turned the ball over cheaply that many times or made as many defensive errors he'd have been hung drawn and quartered. Schär was our best for me, super soft penalty which I'd be more than annoyed about if it was the other way, but VAR couldn't overturn it because Hwang kicked out at the ball when he had no chance at winning it after Schär took it away from him, and did contact Schär's leg. Overall we were terrible. Wilson scored twice, which is what he's there for, but pretty much everything else he did was off. Joelinton didn't impose himself enough on the game. Bruno would have been our best if his petulant streak didn't emerge late on - firstly the ridiculous sweeping tackle attempt that contributed heavily to their second goal and later goong to ground too easily when attempting and failing to win free kicks. In the lead up to their second Pope punched the ball away when an easy catch was on offer - a baffling decision.
  6. Howe and all associated with the footballing aspects of the club will be outwardly positive and supportive about Tonali's situation but you can bet your arse that behind closed doors the club will investigate every possible avenue through which we can lessen the blow of the shafting we copped at the hands of AC Milan. Not that the above tweet will have any basis in real news of course, just speculation.
  7. Man City and Arsenal are better sides, Man City clearly. They were well organised in defense and we lacked bite, still we had three or four clear cut chances that on another night could have gone in. They too had three or four clear cut chances which is what I'm more worried about as our central midfield didn't cover the spaces and players that they should have.
  8. I love Joelinton, but there's something not right. He had to make the run to cover when Gordon turned it over. He didn't and their subsequently completely open player scored. No excuse for that.
  9. What an absolute cunt of a ref this guy is, where is he from? France? Netherlands? If not they'll have papers ready to transfer citizenship.
  10. European reality check. Positionally gave them too much space, but we did create a fair bit and a draw would have been a fair result. If either of our post hitting shots went in what a finish it would have been. Really lumps the pressure on our next two away games.
  11. How good was that tackle from Schär by the way. Fucking class. Paul Dummett will have rolled a tear watching that.
