  1. I said we'd struggle when Botman, Pope, Burn, Wilson, Longstaff, Willock, Barnes and Murphy were injured but you all said no we'll be fine, faith in Eddie. Well who's laughing now?
  2. Heard a podcaster mention that his minutes don't count if they're after 70 minutes away at Spurs when we're down three nil.
  3. Joelinton looks like he's about to fall over with every touch of the ball. If that's not a sign of tired legs, don't know what is.
  4. Seriously, to somehow single out Almiron as the problem in this game unless he's trying to wring a goal out of him with the trash talk...
  5. Agree, this is what it boils down to really. You have to accept that our best 11 is our best 11 only when they're at their best.
  6. I do agree that we had to give some players there a run to relieve some of our current first 11. We know these are our strongest 11, but not when they're out on their legs after 25 minutes. I guess the point is that although we have a squad we have a strong premier league 11 out with injury so it's fair that Howe won't have been confident about some on the bench. Also, just because they're on the bench it doesn't mean they're fit to play 90. There has been a certain inevitability about our performances with this 11 over the last few games which is worrying. The game on Wednesday is vastly more important that this one in every way but Howe has refused to rest players for that game and it's hurting us. He knows that at out best we can compete with anyone and is refusing to play anything else than what he deems our best players with a seeming blind spot to the evident fatigue that is growing with each game.
  7. Fatigue definitely at play, but this is what Tottenham do. Fast starters and we've also got an important Wednesday game in the back of our minds. It's not like we've not had chances here though.
  8. @Andrew Can we please utilise excess Patreon funds to get Gemmill a new keyboard without a defective caps lock.
  9. England's Nick Pope. So weird that they point out he'll be out for.four to five month and then highlight that it will include a match less than a month away.
  10. Thigh injury, but don't think it is serious.
  11. It's a no to De Gea for me. I do think he is a quality keeper but the funds are needed elsewhere and he'll want a tidy wage. We're an injury to Isak (who looks to not be fully free moving anyway) away from having to play a winger up top. We literally have two first team strikers in our entire squad.
  12. Obviously I'd rather Pope who has been in great form lately, but Dubravka and Karius should be fine with Gillespie as further cover. The vigger priority still remains as a striker as it's much less likely that a GK picks up an injury, especially when compared to Wilson and Isak.
