There are players who put in the least possible effort defensively or in terms of movement so that when they do get the ball they're fresh. And then there's Gordon who will sprint at full pace to close down a player who then effortlessly gets passed him, or makes the easy pass sideways. The effort is there but his defensive decision making is poor as is his use of his body off the ball. Plenty of time to improve those though.

They're offside there but we were so foolish, they played it back to open up space and we obliged by attempting to push forwards to close them down. We're all over the place. That for me is a dive, but they won't overrule it because it has been given on field.
