14 minutes in and it feels like they've made 3 or 4 late/unnecessarily physical fouls without punishment. This is a crazy game, nice save Dubravka but into a dangerous position and Burns long leg preventing the tap in. Mind you it was also Burns legs that allowed them to so easily get in behind us.

With our side lacking a physical presence in midfield plus the knowledge that Bruno is one yellow away from a two match ban it's not surprising, but as @wykikitoon pointed out this ref is not giving us much despite their additional physicality (AKA he's a cunt) which is helping them more. Can't see them being able to maintain this though.

He was very good early on but once he hit the wall he was poor. With the midfielders we have on the roster and Tonali coming into the picture hopefully it will allow Bruno to play a little further forward as he did here. As it turned out it was the antidote to the Gibbs-White marking from last time we played them even though it did contribute to exposing us a few times.
