Don't know why I mentioned the possibility of Coloccini being back for this.. Jumped the gun there. Hope Tiote can drop back to prevent the Taylor and Willo hoofs from being too prevalent.
-
...and Enrique benched for the dippers again. Dream move that one.
-
Should be an interesting 15 minutes in this before our match.
-
Hope that Tiote is really back along with Coloccini. The two of them there should really facilitate our ability to maintain possession, playing it out from the back.

Good to hear of a positive performance from Elliot for once. Adequate result given how many players were rested - though we really need to get a win on the weekend to have justified that approach. -

10 10 Who would be traveling to Everton on a fricken Monday night?

Finally got around to watchin No Country For Old Men last night. Enjoyable well shot picture with plenty of signs of Coen. Not an immediately rewarding watch in the typical sense, but it has a lot of talking points. I found some of the developments to be a little contrived simply to tell the story that the author wanted to tell (assuming it is true to the book here). Great movie monster and on the whole an enjoyable thought provoking watch. Paris, Texas sounds the business. Will add that to my list.

More or less. Not the right game for Marveaux. At the moment I see him as a more skilfull Wayne Routledge. Anita's long balls were frustrating; as soon as Perch came into the midfield we retained posession better as he looked for percentage passes rather than lofting balls into the box. The long balls aren't reason to write him off. He's had to hit the ground running and on balance he's been good considering how little he has played with the rest of the team and how varied his deployment has been.

Idioteque making me kind of happy that Everton were wronged by the referee for the Fellaini off-side call (it would be a tenuous argument to make saying his torso was marginally in front of Taylor's). From memory the first goal in the 3-1 Everton win from last season came from Jelavic being offside - swings and roundabouts. It's not as if we haven't been robbed against Everton in the past - McFadden? handball on the line anyone? At least ours wasn't down to blatant cheating. The Anichebe no-goal call was karmic based on the referee incorrectly overruling the linesman and giving the free-kick. In that regards the linesman not only got the initial call right but managed to right the referees incorrect one. Well played pal.

One of the best things he's done since arriving if true. Ameobi was quality.
-
One thing that is going to piss me off about this game is that none of the highlights packages or shows are going to show the free-kick that should never have been given but all will show the resulting officiating stuff up where the ball crossed the line. Every 2 bob Benny will think they've been wronged when they haven't.
-
Indeed. Hope that will spur things along through this busy period.
-
It was Jonas, just showed the replay again. Good second half and result.
-
My point exactly
-
Who wanted Ba to leave?
-
Nice work by Ameobi. Could easily have had two assists in this cameo.
-
Ba you beauty!!!! There's proper justice you commentating wanks.
-
Justice is done. Fuck off commentators. They should never have had a free-kick.
-
Great ball from Shola.
-
How was that a free-kick? If they scored there it would have been a travesty. They did score, but should never have been given the free-kick.
-
Cabaye brilliant work to avoid a yellow there.
-
Does Anita think that if he keeps trying the same thing he'll somehow get a different result?
-
Good clearance of a dangerous ball by Williamson.
