  1. And surely some of Xisco's wage would have been convered when he was loaned out.
  2. Williamson has been good somewhat surprisingly. They were shite.
  3. Getting fouled apparently means you can haul someone down by the neck with no punishment.
  4. Weirder looking version of Jay Mohr's just come on for them... So not to be outdone Pardew unleashes Obertan.
  5. Taylor on for Colo... Nervous. We're not going to have much of the ball in the last 10.
  6. Worth saying that it was a lovely finish from Cabaye. Taylor getting ready to come on, hopefully not for Colo.
  7. If we can maintain our composure and keep getting to their crosses first they don't look having much bite through the middle. The first 45 minutes of this half will be key
  8. Also look at the direction in which Tiote's foot is moving, it's swinging across and upwards.
  9. Keep in mind that his other foot is on the ground - not live he came lunging in. If the height of the foot is proportionate to the punishment Larsson would be sitting the season out. Tiote was foolish but whatever way you dress it up it was not serious foul play and ergo the red card should never have been shown.
  10. Went back and rewatched it, still not a red but clearly ridiculous from Tiote. Painfully ironic but Tiote himself was clearly fouled by their midfield ranga, and if he had the nouse to go to ground he'd have won a free-kick. Further on the actual contact Fletcher kicked into the in-step of Tiote but it was clearly a foul on Tiote for having his foot in there not near enough to the ball knowing that their player was in a superior position to win it.
  11. Optometrist it is then. Not trying to be funny. A straight red is for serious foul play or violent conduct of which that was clearly neither. End off.
  12. Are you watching an Internet feed over a 33.6k modem? How many pints down? Watch it again.
  13. You're wrong. Even the biased commentators (not towards Sunderland but against Tiote) admitted it was a harsh decision.
  14. No doubt we won't be able to appeal it either, even though it was blatantly not a red card. Given on reputation alone.
  15. Not a red though, fucking refs. Tiote had eyes on the ball from what I saw.
