  1. The problem with the above two remarks is that they are inserting the death penalty into the existing system. The argument that was not that it was cheaper, but that the money spent on imprisonment could be better utilised in other areas; health care, education, pensions for the elderly. Each of these would have a cumulative better effect on the advancement and/or betterment of society than maintaining a life that has shown to have no regard for the right to live of innocent others. This is before the argument of repeat offenders comes into it. Barbaric it is not.
  2. Fair enough, makes sense then.
  3. Taking cost out of it there are plenty that could be considered either beyond redemption or simply don't deserve the chance at it (IMO). Please explain how capital punishment is more expensive.
  4. Voting for is not voting for the killing of innocent people. For, obviously highly dependent on the nature of the crime. The cost of imprisonment in such cases could be put to much better use. Revenge has nothing to do with it IMO.
  5. What is the above quoted from? Who has suggested that they were not expecting it and in what forum and to which audience?
  6. I pity Steve and Wolfy who have some very obvious mental deficiencies, and hope that one day they will see to getting them sorted/controlled or at the very least that their paranoid and absurd delusions do not result in them taking any actions that will harm another human being.
  7. Have heard mixed things, but that does not bode well.
  8. I'm not sure that you can really hurt the feelings of people who ultimately pity you.
  9. I picked up a Synology ds413j (NAS) the other week. Currently only have a single 3TB drive in it, but it's whisper quiet and when I can get the time to finish setting it up properly it will service the whole house with media whilst consuming a lot less power than the PC, producing a lot less heat and obviously being a whole lot quieter.
  10. They obviously didn't count on the Scooby Doo Gang Wolfy with his critical eye being able to immediately burst their expensive trickery disproving their so called 'experts' without so much as the need to even look into the so called 'research' undertaken, or the myriads of other so called 'evidence' that served to deceive those without the critical Wolfy eye.
  11. If they figure Anita amongst the 11 purples then it must be Simpson who they don't consider purple? Feels ridiculous using that terminology.
  12. Gerrard is a fucking cunt and as such I'm shocked that anyone not from Liverpool could call him their favourite player. He's a high waisted self righteous diving cunt of a player and to top it off the way he campaigns to the referee for cards to be issued to other players (even after obviously diving) is absolutely pathetic. Add to that the fact that he's been largely shit for the last couple of years not just because of injury but also because he's so far up his arse that he refuses to play with any sort of structure or do any meaningful sort of defending. Unfortunately I'm not even done yet. The whole assault on the DJ was part and parcel of his attitude problems that extend past the sidelines and into the rest of his life.
  13. Will this injury just about see through hsi contract with us?
  14. The dodgy dealings of Wonga are on front street unlike the majority of companies where they're swept behind a glossy PR campaign. What I don't understand is why MPs would be critical of Newcastle Utd for being affiliated with a company when that compay is operating legally under UK law? Surely if they had a problem with it they'd be looking to curb the operation of the company - and if they already are and haven't been successful then should be taking it higher than throwaway comments. Lucky LeazesMag is not around to see this:
  15. Colo, Taylor and Krul can't be back soon enough. If they're all fit and available can't see us losing this. If they're not then anything could happen.
  16. If you've got it you should wear it to the match IMO. Away and home matches alike it's part of the atmosphere. Seeing a sea of black and white in the home crowd should have a positive effect on our players and cement to the oppostion that they're playing on hostile territory. You're weird for thinking it's anything but normal.
  17. Commentry called that - think he was trying to play the ball in to van Persie.
  18. Excellent lead up player there after a wonderful interception from Jonas.
  19. Fergie off. Not a bad game, not a good game.
  20. Tiote off before we have no choice in the matter could be worth a thought
  21. Pardew planned for us to be attacking them down the flanks, forgot about having to get the ball first to do that. The mind boggles though, we almost always look ordinary in a 4-4-2 and inevitably improve when reverting to 4-3-3 (or variation of).
