  1. You're wrong. Even the biased commentators (not towards Sunderland but against Tiote) admitted it was a harsh decision.
  2. No doubt we won't be able to appeal it either, even though it was blatantly not a red card. Given on reputation alone.
  3. Not a red though, fucking refs. Tiote had eyes on the ball from what I saw.
  4. at engages Sunderland 'lady' fan mouthing off in the background.
  5. They've already reverted to trying to kick Shola's head off.
  6. Not that I'm suggesting he should try it ever again, mind...
  7. Fuck me... Williamson just went by someone on the dribble! Well done...
  8. Showed a little constraint there did Tiote... Still made a lunging tackle from behind though, but managed to do so fairly.
  9. He was at least calm for that one... Hope he can keep a level head for the game... No Platoon moments.
  10. Shite shite spot they've assigned for away seating. Really do not like our third strip and believe we should wear nothing but our black and white in the derby.
  11. Largely agree with this, but suspect Pardew wanted a local in the side. For me that should have been Taylor... If he's fit enough for the bench he's fit enough to start ahead of Williamson IMO. Williamson seems the type to bottle it under derby pressure - hope I'm wrong there...
  12. (4-4-2): Krul; Simpson, Williamson, Coloccini ©, Santon; Ben Arfa, Cabaye, Tiote, Gutierrez; Ba, Shola Ameobi. Taylor is on the bench though. Along with Cisse, ferguson, Harper, Perch, Obertan and Anita.
  13. Shola starting, S. Taylor not back. Colo and Krul are. We're wearing our ugly third strip
  14. Not at all correct, but nice straw man argument. I'm saying that the death penalty should be an option in extreme cases.
  15. Shola to shin the winner off a Simpson cross in the 6th minute of an added five?
  16. Exactly why there 'should' be no need for appeals and the like. If the court system is broken fix it, don't use it as a reason for not taking other action.
  17. Not in my version. But sure, agree that nothing is perfect. Repeat offenders make up such a large percentage of prisoner numbers that it would be difficult to argue that the current system is effective. By the same token it could not be considered cost effective in the scheme of the value added to the general law abiding population. Capital punishment is something that should only be used in certain circumstances for particularly heinous crimes and only where there is no reasonable doubt. There should be no avenue for 'death row appeals' as it makes a mockery of the initial decision. Convict and eliminate.
  18. Hey, I'm not suggesting otherwise. Jug the way it was quoted I initially thought that it had come from an actual US Government source (with some editorializing added). I'd agree with it to some extent, but would add that they likely anticipated some form of larger scale attack just were not able to prevent it. A statement like that could be used to prevent hysteria.
