Neither of you have covered yourself in glory over this whole sad affair. Maybe some of frustrations over the dire position of the club are coming out. It's kind of within normal behaviour for Steve - you take the bad with the good as he's definitely worth having around here. For Ant though it does seem a little out of character to continue going on with it. It was mildly entertaining to start with, but it's gone on way too long now. When it comes down to it IMO Ant never should have pulled the trigger on Stevie's public request to be blocked/banned, that was never going to end well and wasn't really in anyone's interest.

Alan Pardew - Poltroon sacked by a forrin team
OTF replied to Kid Dynamite's topic in Newcastle Forum
Have we actually played the most long balls in the league this season? If so, that's quite depressing.- 10610 replies

Gene, given you're both an eclectic and esoteric fellow could you please include more patent indications for when your posts are tongue in cheek as not all of us are privy to the Rosetta stone. Thanks

And I'm sure they're playing against the same calibre of opposition. Besides one is home the other is abroad, he's obviously not going home for the footballing challenge. Again, only of this is accurate.... And I hope to hell it isn't.

This is what happens when you're forced to play alongside Mike Williamson, behind Cheick 'Figo' Tiote..... If it's true.
-
Cringeworthy trotting that line out at a time like this.
-
I agree, but historically that does not appear to be the way that he does business. This next run of three games are incredibly important.

I don't think that even Ashley would take that much of a gamble on Premier League survival.... though he does seem the type to lose a war to win a battle. The clubs of any potential targets will know that we need a forward having lost Ba, so they'll attempt to hold us to ransom early in the window.

Pardew's master mind games... Make them complacent thinking they won't have to face the Perchinho, then at the 11th hour when the teams are announced put the fear of Jim into them.
-
Is it not that he's had injury problems of late, and hasn't been able to dislodge the current first team forwards? Two and a half years ago Marseille forked out EU 15M so they'd want to get as close to that as possible one would imagine (12M+ pounds).

You're all dead to me.

Pretty sure one of the trainers can fill Xisco's role - as Jonas' Uno opponent.

He's hardly going to rock the boat now is he?

Bazza and CT separated at birth.

Not defensively. In the early times, with Allardyce not playing him anywhere near consistently his main weakness was his passing - he'd frequently resort to punting it up field with few other options. I think with Santon he may have questioned how he was playing based on our results and felt he had to change up something to help us win. This clearly wasn't the case but you can understand how that could happen.

Truth be told we needed another striker before Carroll was sold, so technically he was never replaced sincerely.
-
They'd not have performed up to last years overachieving standard, however we'd not be where we are on the table contemplating a relegation battle. It should have been Debuchy, a centre back and a striker at the least. Injuries are a part of football and we're not set up to cope with them when they're affecting key personell. If you extend CTs logic to our playing staff we should sack everyone and get in better players. I don't know who they are, but they're out there somewhere.

Games like this make you wonder why you bother.

Embarrassment.
-
It was silly to come in like he did, but there's no way in the world that was a yellow. If our players and our collective team had a pulse they'd be outraged into winning.
-
At least he won't be starting in our next premier league match.

And captain Ameobi has been sent. What a leader.

CT's old object of affection is warming up again...

Kluivert sent one into orbit there.
