  1. Annoying isn't it. If they were a tad less putridly coloured they'd be relatively nice, but no excuse for not wearing our proper kit.
  2. He is talented, I never said he wasn't. Just think that he's not particularly well suited to playing fullback in a side who are put under a lot of pressure in a fast and physical league. I don't think those elements of his game will change too much over a short period of time, which is probably all he will have in this league.
  3. There should be a button on the forum that allows you to instantly toggle all of CT's posts to that.
  4. It was good to see him back on the pitch for the first team. Would like to see him get a run of games at some stage this season. Converse to what some may say, I don't think Santon is well suited to being a fullback in the premier league in a mid table team.
  5. There was one stage where Remy was unmarked on the edge of the box but Sissoko's errant pass allowed the defender to intercept. It was by no means a difficult pass. Inconsistent sums up most aspects of his of his game excluding his inconsistency. The highs are very high, but the lows are almost equally low.
  6. I thought the same, but on review it was a really poor pass. Still, Obertan didn't do well with it, but Sissoko has to share some of the blame.
  7. Two penalty shouts that could easily have been given, a player of theirs that should have been sent off. It could have been very different. As it was we were mostly poor, they weren't great but had some good movement and passing. Shelvey's defense for the headbutt is laughable. That's one of the most ordinary home team refereeing efforts I've seen in some time which is surprising given that the crowd were so flat and lifeless. Debuchy was our best, unlucky to 'score' the own goal. Krul looked highly shaky and a number of other players failed to have any positive impact. We're due some changes to come into the side, even in the run of wins we've rarely been convincing. All in all totally classic Newcastle.
  8. Same team. Early subs for the less fit and Obv depending how things are going.
  9. Surprised there's nothing in here about Coloccini's Mrs' twitter posts.
  10. It will be named the Yohan Cabaye Centre for Excellence in honour of the primary stream of income used for its development. Seriously though, this is good, however in the scheme of things it's difficult to not be overly critical.
  11. Indeed, there are no excuses for that.
  12. The only meaningful comparison of commercial income is against other teams in the league/country, and it should include historical data so that growth or decline can be tracked and compared. Anecdotal evidence can be emotive but is ultimately useless.
  13. You're mad if you don't dismiss Southampton from finishing in the top four.
  14. What's Twilighty about it? I've not seen Twilight nor read the books but isn't it about vampires who sparkle in sunlight?
  15. Crazy stuff. I believe that will have us equal top of the form guide which takes into account the last 6 starts.

Haidara the closet racist. It's never the ones you expect.
  17. Only quickly saw the Brown incident, but it looked a very harsh send off. Super soft penalty for Arsenal to seal the win against Southampton. The kind that could be given on just about every single corner by the letter of the law but generally isn't because that would just be silly.
  18. Limped across the line, but all that matters is that we finished in first.
  19. Fair bit of time attributed to their player getting stretchered off at the start of the half.
  20. Was very borderline. His legs were behind the last defender but because of the angle of their bodies part of Cisse was in front. Difficult for the linesman to call anything but offside.
  21. Norwich players complaining there, wasting time, eedyots.
