Agree. It was built on the fantastic double save from Krul. Completely different game of he didn't miraculously keep that out.
-
Yeah, seems a likable guy, great engine, honest and capable midfield fulcrum.

Good for Anita to get a goal. The press won't be interested in the result, but it's a great one for the confidence of our players.

At the end of the day Meyler's lucky there was no fold up chairs in arms reach.
-
Honest shift from De Jong, not sure why he wasn't taken off a little earlier though.

It was outside the box, but could easily have been a red.

The initiating head contact with a headbutt simulation has to be the single most idiotic thing to do as a professional sportsman and yet it frequently occurs across a number of sports. Some absolute peanuts operating under the red mist out there.

Tiote's reputation once again preceding him turning an excellent tackle into an undue free kick.

'Headbutt' from Pardew - WTF!?
-
Here's hoping there's no trademark second half complacency from this position.
-
Good anticipation from Remy, and nicely gifted a goal at a lovely time in the game.
-
De Jong's touch, technique and link-up play again looks good.
-
Reputation borne yellow for Tiote

How they didn't score there! Sliding doors/butterfly effect moment for the game there - if they score it goes on to be a very different game.

Good ball back in from Debuchy, bloody wonderful finish from Sissoko.
-
And lovely at the other end 0-1! What a swing in play!!!

Taylor to score from a corner. 3-0 t

No, it's not really a good article. Not bad either.

With the players coming back I'm optimistic about this match in isolation.

Some people are really missing the point here I feel. When you more or less have to play players who are patently out of form it erodes not only that players confidence and ability but also that of the players around them. In an ideal situation you have the squad to ride out the lack of form in players by moving them out of the first team and replacing them with someone of sufficient quality. This way you prevent the out of form players confidence disappearing altogether and insulates he rest of the team against it. If you're playing alongside players who are making the wrong decisions, turning the ball over, going missing in defense etc then it will naturally begin to eat away at your belief in your team and even your own ability. This has clearly happened to a number of out players. The buck stops at Ashley on this front as we don't have the squad to cater for injuries, loss of form etc and subsequently when things go wrong it can quickly snowball.

See how old the 'source' of these rumours is... seems most likely the whole thing is fake

Game over, yeah /SegaRally

Cisse appears to invent a new way to turn over the ball every time he gets it.
