Time to get him off.
-
I really really want him to do well, but despite playing a lot for us, and trying his arse off he still continues to lack end product.
-
You could tell when it happened that it was not going to be looked at properly. If it was the other way the game would have been stopped whilst it was reviewed from all angles under a microscope.
-
Don't forget this bloke in the VAR:
-
His confidence on the ball is excellent for his age, showing in his recent outings why we were so interested.
-
Tell me about it, we only saw that replay after the VAR 'review'. It was the clearest and most obvious of them all. A job has been done on us here, have no doubt.
-
Good excuse for Eddie to get big Joe on.
-
He trod on his foot, ripped his sock AND pulled back his shoulder. Fuck VAR.
-
Allowing the FA to shape the top 6?
-
Fuck Casemiro.
-
Heavier touch than Dan Burn's for the FK earlier AND he caught his foot, but of course not a pen.
-
-
Trippier putting everyone on side.
-
Wtf was that.
-
Even with the lengthy detour around Casemiro's heft there was no race.
-
Strong run AG.
-
Great keeping Dubravka.
-
Currently making Kieran Dyer look unbreakable.
-
Much more entertaining and open game than the last one against Brighton though we've started to become very sloppy with our passes. For me Anderson and Longstaff together don't work in attack. After a strong start we're now looking somewhat panicked.
-
It was soft, but the shirt pull was so obvious it made it easy for the ref.
-
Why was Anderson marking Casemiro for that FK?
-
Knight Ryder'd your post.
-
Schär is on the bench, thought he was done for the season?

Eddie’s late thread lackeys v de Zerbi’s beach bums

In a sense you're not entirely wrong, but these were at opposite ends of the pitch, Miggy was through on goal, Bruno was bringing it out from our box. Any half decent defender is going to avoid contact in the box, they don't when they're outside the box and looking to stop a potential counter attack. Context is key. There was a period where Miggy stopped going to ground easily and suddenly he started scoring more and generally being a more productive player but after this time out through injury he's reverted to his old tricks. 95% of players don't have the pace to have got to the ball like he did, and that's why he's so damn frustrating, gets into dangerous positions and then wastes it with a silly decision. -

It'a not like they were resolute against us, we just failed in the final third.
