  1. Looks like he's been playing with it for us...
  2. A taxi driver starved of attention with a unique variation of body dismorphia who's probably a decent person in real life.
  3. Riviere should have done a lot better there.
  4. Colback for Riviere actually seems a logical change to make. Unfortunately it's unlikely to change the attitude and teamwork of the rest of the team.
  5. Krul has every right to be furious with our defense this game.
  6. The Coloccini elbow; its appearance a mainstay of his nightmare games.
  7. Shocking we now have a wide player on each side.
  8. Cisse goes to ground and looks silly, Dummett not to be outdone does the same and looks hilarious.
  9. Right through the middle they go again. I suppose Pardew can only dream about having players like Routledge at his disposal.
  10. Just how we're even in this is incomprehensible given the imbalance in the game. Pardew will somehow see this as confirmation that this approach is working.
  11. I almost audibly groaned when he tried that. If Richards did his hamstring he'd still have got to the ball first.
  12. Coloccini shaping up to have one of his stinkers.
  13. I need to correct myself, they didn't make it look easy - it was easy.
  14. And at the other end they make it look easy.
  15. Good positive direct play from Obertan. Missed though.
  16. If he wanted to relegate the club why buy any players? Pardew hasn't been sacked because Ashley believes he'll keep us up which is all he's concerned with as it affects the bottom line so severely. Only a fool would intentionally devalue the club to sell it. Ashley is a lot of things but a fool isn't one if them.
  17. They've outsourced most of their media; it's now routinely issued on the ground at dairy farms with reduced costs and superior accuracy so everyone wins.
  18. Williamson can't be dropped no matter how many goals we concede. How depressing.
  19. And mine was that the same rings true for most of the side so I'm unsure why he's being singled out.
  20. I never said he should be played in that position, but even still he's doing slightly more than fuck all. Obviously changes need to be made.
  21. He did more than just that in that game. He always looks to go to centre of the field which he should not do so often as a wide player. He should be played in behind a striker. He's one of the few players we have who can run with the ball with pace and also get a shot off. According to ESPN in 6 league games he's taken a total of 8 shots with 3 on target 0 goals and the 1 aforementioned assist. For comparison also in 6 games our other "wide" man Sissoko has taken 8 shots with only 1 on target for 0 assists and 0 goals.
  22. I'd say Dummett is a competent player, probably a good trainer and willing to play a role. I like that he always tries to maintain possession first with short passes rather than reverting to hoofing it. Against top quality opposition I'd venture that he'd be left wanting defensively with a significant part of that down to his relative lack of pace. That same factor will limit his ability to be an attachment attacking threat which is where Haidara in comparison excellent. The hope is that as he develops Haidara will improve his defensive attributes.
  23. Not entirely sure why it's so popular to hate on this guy but he was one of our best against Hull and got the (very good) assist for the equalising goal. He's clearly being played out of position and has had some weak performances partially as a result of that (stoke being a prime example).
