Elmohamady haha how did he almost get away with that? And what sort of knob does that, celebrates it like he did and then looks incredulous when it was rightfully chalked off.
-
Really happy for him to have opened his account. Still goes to ground a fair bit but it's usually as a result of a foul or at least contact and he's generally back on his feet quickly as was evidenced there.

Lovely finish Cabella.
-
Aye, just inadvertantly saved a goal with his knee.

Former Newcastle United player James Troisi scored the winner in extra time. By far the most populous continent on the planet. Probably home to some of the tallest people in the world. Seriously though it's an amazing achievement. South Korea and Japan are hardly footballing minnows. We've done it with the core of a new generation of players which bodes well for a healthy future.

The almost daily "Distraction From The Boardroom Shit-Housery" thread

Not at all surprising.
-
The fact that they're off at the end of the season would influence the manager. The players too could have lost some of their motivation so I wouldn't really judge them based solely off their inclusion in their team.
-
Seriously we contracted coaches until 2020? Why?
-
He'll always struggle because of his size. It's not to say players that size can't be great players, just that Anita won't be in this league.
-
This sort of performance for me just shows that normally our players aren't properly motivated.
-
Hope we continue to play with the same pep and vigour of the first half. It was almost like Chelsea were expecting us to come there and roll over. Can't afford a single lapse in concentration against a bunch of players like that. We were clearly the better team everywhere except where it counts.. I'm shocked to say.

Damn, Krul would. Have saved that if Janmaat wasn't standing there.
-
Horrible time to concede.
-
Injured by some Cabella skill. Part injury part embarrassment? Their central defenders have looked very poor when isolated. Not used to having to actually defend I guess.
-
We'll rue missing these chances.
-
Lovely feet from him just then, made the defense look silly.
-
The best we've seen of Cabella, looks very promising from where I'm sitting. A bit of confidence and a bit of game time...
-
I watched it again to verify the claim, and I'm still not quite sure...
-
This generally summarises our incoming transfer activity.
-
We've been sniffing around Rome looking for Champions league calibre defenders, preferably mid 20s and French speaking. Heard we're also lining up a move for future AC Milan captain Hatem Ben Arfa.

"What's that Mike, the King has left the building?" "...and you need a new King..." ...next minute on nufc.co.uk Newcastle United can confirm that the search for a new head coach is over. Former England Manager Terry 'El Tel' Venebles has been appointed to the position, taking control with immediate effect. Venebles, pictured with the budget and brief for his new role.

Has anyone registered SackCarver.com yet?

Between Williamson and Dummet there's approx 1 CB. Not surprised to see him get injured again.

Has the look of the rotational outfielder playing in goals in a six a side competition. Apart from him the rest of our defense was horrible too.
