  1. He doesn't care and won't be coming back even if his mum was announced as the new manager.
  2. The club is being paid for Pardew when we all would have happily sacked him and paid some level of compensation. Mike Ashley, master of business.
  3. Everytime Sammy does the same thing and amazingly still quite often gets a ball into the box or wins a corner. He's not very good overall but that aspect alone can make him dangerous. Perez continues to grow in confidence in contrast to the rest of the team. Janmaat was too stuffed/lazy to get back for their goal, affording them acres of space. Very disappointing. A draw would have been a fair result. If only Armstrong had looked up when Sissoko had run into the box after playing the young forward through with a great ball. It would have been not much more than a simple tap in, and a wonderful goal.
  4. If Kinnear was still around as director of football he would have handled this and we'd have been able to call on Tom Krul, a promising up and coming Dutch keeper whom he personally signed for a tenner.
  5. He wasn't that bad a player, just didn't do well against particularly physical players.
  6. In reference to talent and application of that talent.
  7. We've got a horrid record there so we haven't lost a lot by losing there. Setting aside the time wasted watching the abysmal performance. We do really need to get a senior keeper in though.
  8. Probably. He was offside.... apart from the ball being in front of him obviously!
  9. He won possession with a great tackle to start that play off also.
  10. Definitely capable of being above average. Breaks up play well and is handy getting forward, particularly with open space.
  11. fyp. Anyhow, it's lovely that we've upset Mourinho. Arsene next week.
  12. Even 5 minutes is normally necessitated only by a bad injury that requires a stretcher. 6 is absurd in the context of this game. It was clearly complaining from the Chelsea bench that lead to the weak officials giving them every chance to get a result.
  13. He did. Started slowly but really warmed to the challenge and ended up as one of the best on the pitch. A handy player who's always going to put in an honest shift. He's desperate to score so hopefully he can put one in the back of the net soon.
  14. It was all over when the King spotted the three points in Chelsea's bag. When you're the King you can do anything.
  15. Fantastic win. Really disciplined with the exception being Taylor's stupid challenge. That was a shame too, as he had played well up to that point.
