I feel obliged to at least try to watch it, more out of habit than for any logical reason.

I'm in Hawaii atm, with no way to watch this game given that it's on at 5AM. Our accommodation has good internet. If anyone is up on the life aquatic I would appreciate some directions via PM. I haven't cast a line in quite some time..

We might as well just not have a manager. Each week draw straws between the players and whoever gets the short one is manager for the week. I could see Williamson having the tactical nous to drop himself.

I didn't even bother to watch this for the first time in 10 years. The players don't give a fuck, so why should we. Sure they should be disappointed with the recruitment policies in place but once you're on the pitch have a bit of pride in your performance and play for not only yourself and you team mates but also the supporters. Obviously the problems run a lot deeper than the players but it would be nice to think that could at least make match days somewhat enjoyable, Carver is helping to ensure that that doesn't happen. At this point I don't think I'd care if we lost all of our remaining games and were relegated.

Re the Office I have the same analysis as you lot. I was asking just to see what the perception of it was over there. Recently rewatched the whole series and thoroughly enjoyed it, in some ways I'd forgotten just how good it was. Even the weaker stuff was ok. I had to fight back tears on a couple of episodes.

Did you lot watch the US office? If so what were your thoughts.

Noone would be over a sustained period of time under Mike Ashley.

Can only see this upping his cbf factor. When he comes back he'll be an unfit yellow card getting distance shot taking waster.

Who could have predicted that he'd be less effective than his brother. Wish the deal would have made like his lung....

So telling that we didn't even bother to speculate through the January window about potential purchases. It was only about retention of existing players. Expectations successfully crushed.

We've got a squad that can get us through the season, hooray! With any luck they'll get us through until January and, I'm probably asking too much here, get through that season too. Dare to dream.
