No, three. And I'm in the team victory photo.

I remain undefeated in Newcastle matches attended in person. 100%

There will be one minute of wall tapping in his honour prior to kickoff, and I expect the flags at the MCG will be at half mast.

We've named a very strong 29 man squad for the Australian trip, noteable player exclusions Schär, Longstaff, Tino, Gordon and Dubravka. Even still I don't know if I'll bother to use my tickets or accommodation now that Adam P isn't coming.

Lucky he doesn't know the song that most of you pricks sing about him.

This was the perfect demonstration of a clear and obvious error. Now two clear and obvious errors. Who will VAR the VAR?

Also Howe called it a stonewall penalty in the full presser.

Gordon wasn't seething, thought he spoke very well about the whole incident and the involvement (or lack thereof) of VAR.

I wouldn't put it past him, he's certainly capable if his body does its part. I don't see him wanting to leave at this stage, but I guess it depends how long he wants to keep playing for. Hopefully he's ok transitioning into an offfield 'player' beyond next season (like Matt Ritchie, but loads better) l, having him as a mentor for Livramento could help him to round out his game.

We need to sign Schär's replacement. It doesn't need to be a like for like as we're unlikely to find someone with his passing and technique who is also the right age and also more mobile. My hope is that with Tonali coming back we get that deeper distribution from him as well as a fully fit Botman. Then we need an additional striking option, perhaps someone with more of a physical presence who can play back to goal. Isak's fitness is patchy, and he has the odd game (like today) where things don't click for him. The right wing option also needs sorting. Murphy has on balance done well and Almiron has had patches but otherwise frustrated. To go to the next level we need improvement there. Then it's a better reserve keeper option than Pope, someone on the rise with quality on the ball also as that's still Pope's biggest weakness.
