Talk of a return of Santon. Lazy journalism but I'd probably foolishly have him back, dreaming that he'd be played on the right and hoping that his head is in the right space.
-
From what I've seen of Shelvey his timing on tackles is horrid and his defensive positioning isn't great. A Liverpool supporting mate said that his tackling was horrible as well. May have improved at Swansea, but I've seen no signs in his two games for us. That's clearly not where his strengths lay.

On target, ha! ... I think for each of them the ball was closest to the target the moment immediately before it was 'headed'.
-
Aye, what's important is that in Saivet we've got someone who can make up the numbers for lower wages than some other guy who was making up the numbers. Nice header Lacelles.
-
Perez trying to outdo Gouffran there with that header.
-
Could feel that second one coming, we completely lost our composure after the offside 'goal'.
-
... About the majority of clubs.
-
For a game where we we clearly the better team there were some nervous moments in that second half!
-
A taller faster Wayne Routledge.
-
He's Dummett again!
-
Beautiful goal, should have put us 2-0 up.
-
Any word on what the anti-Ashley banner said?
-
Aye, they cut to Shelvey and he was way out of position in the wrong box.
-
Defender ran across the line of Janmaat's run clipped his legs and didn't get the ball, yep Mike Dean no penalty here.
-
Widjnaldum should have put that away, great ball and vision from Perez.
-
Let the horseshit commence!

£12m isn't what it used to be.
-
Yeah, let's not forget he headbutted Debuchy and got away scot-free. The absolute bellend then proceeded to carve us up in the remainder of that game.
-
We need a left fullback to give our attack a dimension it's sadly lacking currently.
-
It's horrible that our finishing failings are now being heralded as evidence that Arsenal have a title winning team and mentality. They were woefully bad for a side currently in first position.
-
It was Janmaat who you're talking about but Koscielny was ahead of him anyway Janmaat was half a yard outside the six yard box. All completely irrelevant of course and there was not a lot in it.
-
Anytime he's isolated he looks more like one of those training figures than an actual player. I hope it's possible for our players to be buoyed by a loss.

There was no one on the line from what I saw, they had already moved well off it.
