On book two of the Dark Tower series (Stephen King). The first, as widely reported, is a little slow and mysterious but I'm right into the second now. Effectively the whole thing is one huge book.
-
Wouldn't you be?
-
Hope they can build on this. Shame it's a tougher fixture next up.
-
Fuck.
-
Well done Mitrovic, put his body on the line.
-
Nice Mbemba.
-
Yep.
-
Ouch
-
Timmy Krul, nothing to lose there with the flag buy great save none the less.
-
Mitrovic will be key for us this season. He's got the size, strength and enthusiasm to really get under the skin of the opposing defenders. We've not had that in a player since Andy Carroll.
-
Mitro would have seen three weeks for that if roles were reversed.
-
Fantastic header. A bit of steel now lads
-
Just wow...
-
This will be our best game in a while but we'll still lose.

Agree that Thauvin showed some good signs. I think for a young kid coming into a new, tougher league he's done pretty well. Hasn't been amazing but has shown glimpses of quality and a desire to take on the opposition. Widjnaldum has been disappointing since the Southampton game where he looked great. It seems he doesn't know what his role is currently. We saw some improvement in the second half yesterday thankfully. Mbemba is a talent, but he's raw and will probably make some errors along the way especially playing alongside an often disinterested Coloccini. Haidara is frustrating be a use he does have the physical attributes to be good, but his on field awareness is poor and defensively he's erratic.
-
De Jong what the hell was that?
-
Ref can end this game now that Colback has his yellow.
-
At first look we've been denied two penalties.
-
Janmaat will be our leading scorer based on the season so far.
-
Well done Mbemba.
-
Nice teamwork there.
-
Sissoko out of ideas and couldn't give a fuck.
-
I'll give anything a go The Thauvin comment came because he started to play a lot better after your comment. I don't actually think Colback is that bad, but he's well out of form. I can only think that the reasons he is out there instead of Anita are something like; he ran further in the last match and he's a little more physical.

"What odds can I get for the sacking of the Newcastle manager?" "zijn er banen beschikbaar?"

10 minutes with this lot out there max. Then shift Cisse for de Jong and Colback for Aarons, Move Perez to a more advanced position with de Jong in a free roaming role behind Aarons and Thauvin switching wide channels Sissoko and Widjnaldum distributing the ball through the middle. Late in the match bring Obertan on for whomever is fading most and hope that his pace will trouble them.
