Confidence still shot, we need a goal or two to put an end to our inability to score
-
Why did Sissoko even play that ball, he was sort of one on one when Perez had three defenders on him.
-
Lascelles thinking he was Bramble for a second there.
-
What was Mitro at there.... Geez... Last thing we need. Fucking Colback, if he could tackle he would easily have got that ball.

I can't help but feel that we're going to completely bottle this. The worst feasible outcome would be a loss, an injury and a suspension. That seems entirely possible. I can also see us being on the wrong end of refereeing decisions. I hope to fuck I'm wrong, but that's the mindset I'll unfortunately be going into this game with. For reference when we last played them this was our side. A poor decision and some unfavourable refereeing turned the match with Coloccini conceding a penalty to a very soft Fletcher tumble and being sent off for his trouble (at the end of the first half). Elliot; Janmaat, Mbemba, Coloccini, Dummett, Sissoko, Tiote, Colback, Wijnaldum, Perez, Mitrovic Subs: Woodman, Haidara, Lascelles, Anita, Thauvin, De Jong, Cisse I've spent a lot of time thinking about the best formation we could play for this game, this is what I've come up with. ---------------------Elliot--------------------- Janmaat---Taylor---Mbemba---Mbabu ---------Colback*-------Shelvey----------- --Townsend--------------------Sissoko---- ------------------Wijnaldum----------------- --------------MItrovic------------------------ Subs: Darlow, Perez, Lascelles, de Jong, Saivet, Doumbia, Aarons, Kluivert * - If Tiote is fit I'd start with him rather than Colback, though we know Colback will give his all in this match.

Still can't believe they've won the last six, that's atrocious. Such an important game, I really hope we have Mbemba back.
-
Yeah, I enjoyed the second a lot more than the first.
-
Every Dead Thing by John Connolly, enjoying it so far, reading it sporadically.
-
Well Anorthernsoul, you've just taken responsibility for the most important game of the decade, don't fuck it up.
-
Yeah, let's take no encouragement from travelling to the league leaders and losing to a dubious goal and missing out on a clear penalty. That would be silly
-
Good positioning from Taylor there.
-
Man Vardy is a diver. Missed the handball there
-
Lovely between Perez and Sissoko. Sissoko had the right idea with his pass but in feigning to shoot he didn't know where our players were.
-
Refreshing to have our weakest player subbed off.
-
Indeed, so far. Our back four that unfortunately selected itself is almost the worst you could imagine against a pacey counter attacking side like Leicester. Second half I'd be sending Mitro out there to niggle at Wes Morgan, give no inch and don't play for the free-kick that you're not going to get. Later on look to get Gini, Perez or Doumbia at his with some skill/trickery. Also run Sissoko at him.
-
I'm confident that Rafa can improve him. The ability is there he's too passionate for the ball just needs his priorities sorted.
-
Geez, Sissoko clattering into Mitrovic in the clear in the box
-
Don't think that's ever going to work with a ramshackle back four like our current one.
-
Not unexpected. We weren't marking for that free kick.
-
There's a difference between thinking and hoping.
-
Without question this. It's the only reason we've got Benitez. Optimisically looking at it, if we survive, McClaren's failing as coach will have been a good thing for our long term prospects. The realist in me says even with survival Rafa won't get the backing from Ashley to transform the side and that will ultimately lead to discontent and his departure.
-
A point would be amazing. I'll be happy if we're competitive and look like a football team again even if we get nothing from it.
-
If he was fit Rafa could get something out of Obertan. He was having a very rare purple patch (ha!) when he injured himself.
-
As much as it would be great to bring our best defenders in for the Leicester game (particularly Mbemba) there little sense in risking rushing anyone back from injury when there are games against lesser opponents around the corner.

They each have their own connect 4 board to keep the quibbling down.
