Thanks for pointing out that it could have been worse for him.
-
Thought he must have died when I saw this thread pop up, turns out it's worse.
-
Not a very flattering photo that.

All signs point to this being a wisd signing. With Botman and Lascelles missing to start the season he should get some chances and he appears to bring some speed which is definitely required.

That doesn't matter, they've proven two things many times over: 1. They already have more than enough money 2. Adherence to rules is not a primary concern for them It's curious how high a priority GK is for us. Dubravka definitely cost us in several games (he did have a couple of games where he was incredibly good also). Pope does have errors in him, and some deficiencies that he has been working on, are these moves to potentially drop him down to second choice?

Wrong. I'm ageist.

Can we sell Minteh and deliver Kuol
-
They will, but the way that they often buy and then don't go on to consistently use players because of the lack of clear direction should be cause for concern. For most, when guided by their agents the most important factor is money, which Chelsea seemingly have an endless supply of. Though our owners have no limitation on spending our club does and so anyone that we do purchase will be to be used consistently, particularly if they're an established premier league player and are in their mid 20s. In summary both Chelsea and Newcastle will have told the player that he'd be a key component in their future but for us it has to be true, for Chelsea it doesn't.

In those terms yes, but in footballing terms Chelsea have been a laughing stock the last two seasons with horrifically poor results for their financial outlay. I'm not going to lose any sleep over this.

Care to fill us in?
-
Either way we'll need a wonderwall.

Also denies us the chance to improve our UEFA club coefficient which would improve our future income from European football. That said as far as our league and domestic cup this is a far better result than stretching our squad (and keeping on deadwood to help) for the lowest ranking and lowest prizemoney European competition which I couldn't imagine on its own would have any sway on any player signing for us. I wonder if there are any implications for player's bonuses and wages next season? That could be more telling. I feel like Bruno will stay as he has his buddy Joelinton here for the long term whereas Isak is much harder to get a read on.

Actually pretty mild, was probably around 14 degrees at the time.

@wykikitoon feel free to use this expertly snapped picture to bring Callum back down to earth.
-
Haha, it's not as big as you'd expect. I also asked Callum what @wykikitoon's Mrs's favourite position is. Striker.

Not sure why he didn't follow the rest of the players, but I wasn't too bothered about it due to that penalty. Getting Burn's shirt was brilliant, felt sorry for a little girl whose Dad got Dummett's shirt and then forced her to wear it.

It was frankly a joke, however that didn't stop the Newcastle active supporter area from bringing awesome atmosphere to the stadium throughout and standing all game to watch some kids who were frankly terrible in defense get absolutely flogged. Trippier and Hall were kitted up and pinging passes between each other before the game and throughout half time. I foolishly thought that Howe would bring them on at some point along with Anderson. The somewhat embarrased acknowledgement of the crowd after being unceremoniously belted was behind the onfield advertising hoardings. Hall gave his shirt to someone near the tunnel and they all disappeared down it. It was thankfully all salvaged when Callum Wilson, Nick Pope, Dan Burn, Jacob Murphy, Harvey Barnes, Paul Dummett and the Mackem Slayer came out and spent some time signing autographs and taking selfies. They also threw some unused shirts from the game into the crowd. My boys caught Big Dan Burns shirt. They both got all of their signatures (minus Dummett) plus some selfies with Jacob, Nick and Shola. They were absolutely stoked about it all (so was I to be fair).

Bruno Fornaroli maybe.

That would be fun just for the moment when Klopp turns and reveals his true self when he realises you aren't a sycophant Liverpool supporter.

"Oh btw guys that wasn't me in that last email, my friend sent it as a joke lol k thx bai Dan"

Talk about giving yourself away as an imposter. At least none of us call them jandals.

I'm sick of these inaccurate cultural stereotypes. It's not gold, it's stone wash blue and comes with nearly matching thigh length denim shorts.
