  1. They'd be able to keep each other onside (in their application of the rules).
  2. Come on you cock wombles, steady the ship! PS - Aguero you cheating princess. PPS - Mitro.
  3. If you take Man Cities best 30 odd players with you it ought to do the trick.
  4. We need something from this game. It would be a tactical and attitudinal master stroke if we were to get what we need.

    Steven Taylor

I'm think in the minority here, but I think Steven has the potential to be one of the best midfielders in Europe. I am being very speculative here but there's not many players with his range of arm gestures and the vision and execution to turn average passes into defence-splitting passes. However he's clearly a bit of a fragile character, and he definitely hasn't covered himself in glory since coming here.
  6. You could mount an argument that Saivet was a better buy; he can't continually turn the ball over if he's not playing. Defensively their contributions are similar.

    Steven Taylor

I honestly can't imagine anyone will offer him a contract, there's just no logical reason for it. He looks absolutely finished.
  8. If nothing else Townsend can really hit a ball. Great pace on that considering the position of the ball when he connected.
  9. Got to feel for Darlow. He's come in in the worst possible circumstances and has done pretty well, but he's operating behind comfortably the worst defense in the league protected by the laziest midfield in the league. On that one he would have saved it were it not for Lascelles deflection.
  10. Taylor you've honestly got to laugh. Showed the level of commitment you'd expect in a training match.
  11. Shelvey is one of the laziest players I've ever seen. To top it off his defensive positioning is horrid, and he couldn't tackle a three year old.
  12. This was my thinking as well for both of our equalisers. Well no need to worry about that. More calamity at the back.
