Not to put a downer on this, or to suggest that you'll soon be knocking on death's door but I'm quite sure Noelie must have passed on rather than just randomly stopped posting.

As others have said PSR is the only reason, it's more of an acceptance of the reality rather than any level of enthusiasm. Apart from the owners and Howe, Trippier has had the single biggest impact on the change in our fortunes. His big ball move to come here in the face of relegation was to paraphrase many "transformative". He can absolutely still do it at the top level and because pure athleticism has never been a cornerstone of his game he's likely to be able to for a few seasons yet. As a leader no doubt he has also been absolutely instrumental, demonstrating composure and class whilst still pushing for results and decisions in an ultra comeptitive manner is no easy feat. You've acknowledged that the reality is we do have a quality young option at RB in Livramento, an extremely different player but highly capable. We can only sell players who have an inherent value and Trippier as a current English team ever-present and club captain who has had success wherever he has gone has that. Of course we'd all love to keep him here, his few odd poor performances are massively dwarved by his good and great ones. The confidence and composure he brings are contageous and have been important in the development of many players in the team. If he is to go it will easily be the hardest to stomach of the players who have left due to PSR.

Glad you're feeling better. I'm sure the consultant is properly qualified and all but it's just natural aging and it should settle down sounds like something a car dealer would say when they can't explain why your engine cut off mid drive. How many times has it happened?

Don't think anyone's really interested too much in mine, but just in case I bought and installed a new dishwasher over the weekend, also played poker and lost. Seriously though I think the only interest is around what it means for his role in the team, and how it may have affected his performances.

No, he's taken more but only wears one.

I know it's silly to think this at this stage, but surely it would be worth considering also starting with Kane on the bench and giving Toney or Watkins the opportunity to get at the Swiss defense? Then change it up by bringing Kane on.

Makes little sense to me, why not spend big money on more exciting players? I guess they (Ronaldo's Al-Nassr) really want to win the title this coming season. Last season in second place they conceded 42 goals compared to only 23 from the winners (Mitrovic FC). The lost by 14 points and Mitrovic FC were undefeated.

Surely we will now absolutely piss in the PSR. If it's still close then I guess as much as it is still frustrating it makes the business we just conducted under duress even more impressive. Nottingham Forest should be a much better option for Anderson to get playing time. Minteh is a tough one, especially as it's likely we will sell Almiron and there would have been great opportunity for him here.

...this will be the year, I'm quite sure of it, so sure that I'm typing this into my pill case because the Toontastic certificate has expired again

Hope they had a right good look at his passing stats, especially considering how they play.

Welcome mate, now fuck off. Just preparing you for what it's like around here* * If you're somewhat liked

Harsh on Slovakia. Especially Bellingham being MOTM.
-
Yeah turns out you're right

He's 30 years old but he strikes me as having the mentality of a 15 year old.

If Peter Pekerik picked a peck of pickled peppers...

Gordon barely in the team huddle let alone in Southgate's substitution thoughts.
-
Eze has had some good defensive involvements since coming on. Did very well to stay alert there at the back post.
-
Especially when you know he'll be starting next match (assuming Slovakia don't score). If England can hang on Southgate is that mentally decrepit that he'll probably play the same team and tactics despite them being wholly dire for the vast majority of this game.

Stunning turn around here. Nice energy and header from Toney put it on the platter for Kane.
