  1. I don't have a horse in this race, was just curious. I have since done a little reading on the recent political direction and legislation that has been passed there, which is disappointing, and just means that you need to include their political party and leader amongst the pack of cunts. Still maintain that directing opposition at football fans is somewhat misguided but at least it makes a little sense now.
  2. Agreed. I'd say the media not bringing any attention to it is a good thing, as attention and reactions are exactly what they are seeking - seem to be getting it from you lot. Absolutely no problems with banning problematic miscreants who are using high profile sporting events as platforms for promoting their ill formed beliefs. What I don't condone or agree with is the blanket stereotyping of all Hungarians in that light when 99+% of the supporters are just out there supporting their team in a positive way. The politics of the leader also have nothing to do with a game of football. How would the English like to be judged by the actions of their leader, and/or a subsection of hooligans? Elsewhere it is being touted as a feel good story but some here are coming at it with an unexpected degree of vitriolic spite which I just don't understand.
  3. Why single out a pack of cunts from one country? Every country has them in some form or another.
  4. It also speaks to the progress on takeovers as any success will bring a swift end to his current role where he has been promoted beyond his ability and experience. For him keeping the club on limp home mode and in the top league is the continuence of his gravy train with some no doubt tasty financial incentives for doing it as frugally as possible. Regardless of whether he desires on some level for the club to do well there's an everpresent conflict of interest that is damaging to the long term welfare of the club. As if we needed any more conformation that Ashley and his men need to go.
  5. Pretty unbelievable where we will finish this season given how dire we looked for large parts of it. Between them Wilson, ASM and Willock can take much of the credit.
  6. Against Fulham's terrible finishing might be able to get away with it.
  7. "Jonjo will fight em on the beaches, he'll fight em on the the field and in the streets; he shall never surrender is what I might have said about this match if it meant something, which at some stage it could have" Ryder, 2021
  8. Stand out often has been an effective way to describe his in game movement.
  9. Clue: It's probably never, as this run for Willock was broken by the Arsenal game where he couldn't play and we failed to score.
  10. And don't worry about Willock, how many times have we scored in seven consecutive games under Bruce?
  11. 7 in a row in is incredible for anyone, unbelievable for modern day Newcastle.
  12. 17th would equate to job done with upmost efficiency, ensures player and manager bonuses are kept to the bare minimum.
  13. Can we sub out Bruce for the HT talk? Or at least distract him with a really big bag of crisps.
  14. We're playing well. This is an unexpected turn of events.
  15. The tramp must be fucking annoyed about the bloke in the foreground blocking the can of Rich Energy.
  16. Great save there agaisnt our "very dangerous counter attacking".
  17. Is there a graph showing momey spent on legal challenges against the Premier League? #Topofthelot
  18. Didn't realise he was still on the books, thought it doesn't surprise me. Xisco to bag a few as well?
  19. Surprised Mike didn’t put in place a 5 year plan based on Leicester.
