  1. Would have been a mistake to play him, they'll have picked apart our game from last week and would have been all set to attack him as our weakest defender. Subjecting him to that would have done no favours to his defensive confidence, plus it also makes sense to play Kelly as he'll have extra motivation to perform.
  2. I currently dislike these shirts.
  3. Good hustle and strength from Krafth
  4. Hope your nephew gets well soon.
  5. Also @LongTimeAdmirer to really piss them off can you please put the AEST kick-off times in the titles.
  6. This week and beyond can you please exude victorious AND enjoyable energy.
  7. It's like someone bumped a thread from yesteryear. Personally after our opening game of the season, despite our dogged victory, I was expecting a season long ban on match threads for LTA.
  8. We're cautious with our signings because we know how detrimental it is to our bottom line to have deadwood on big contracts hanging around and as Howe has said so many times we won't buy for the sake of it, they have to improve our team/bring something new. Something new like an overpriced Greek shot stopper apparently* * Not undermining Eddie, that's beyond his control and he wasn't happy about all of that, most notably Anderson.
  9. The ever optimistic me of the past thinks that he may recapture his form. He's (or he was) a better defender than current Lewis Hall. But the reality is Eddie has been talking up his recovery to boost the chances of loaning him out. If Hall doesn't progress defensively he could be used elsewhere and Targett brought back with Kelly and Burn also options at LB. On the strength of the Southampton game our opponents will be telling pacy attacking players to target him like they were when Burn was playing LB and getting tormented. This week is going to be interesting. Players we're hoping for outward movement/closure on: - Trippier - Almiron - Targett - Fraser - Hayden - Dubravka / Vlachodimos - Jamal Lewis
  10. It was a fucking Kangaroo you absolute filthy RACIST.
  11. He can barely believe he's kicked it in. The form is atrocious, but the goal spectacular. Well done Pwied Pwiepwer.
  12. You're thinking like a boxer who only ever throws punches and never gets punched. That's not how the transfer market works. And fucking hell, easy to recreate Bruno type signings, time to update my analogy. You're thinking like a boxer who only ever gets punched in the head over and over again.
  13. What do you think preceded this tweet? *ring ring* Gandaft: Rich Energy, premium energy drink of the U.K. now doing more hashtag business than ever, how can I direct your call? Caller: William, we're going to need you to move all those pallets you've had sitting in storage Gandaft: Can I use the pallet jack myself? Caller: Sure thing dear Gandaft: Thanks Mum
  14. David de Gea player coach is a thread that has two pages of replies. Do they realise he's 33 not 53?
  15. Got rinsed by Mbuemo for Brenford's first goal and could have been sent off for a studs up excessive force tackle later. The thing with this signing for me is the fact that there will be noone else offering anywhere near what we are for him. If we hold as it is they will accept the price, more fool them if they don't. I think we'd be overpaying slightly but if we've decided this is our man then over the life of a 6 year contract (taking him to age 30, or 29 with a year to run if we decide to cash in) it's peanuts.
  16. Tackled him back to Chile (-on-trent).
  17. Kelly will get a chance ahead of schedule.
  18. Just on their weasel, his name is Ben Brereton, he hoyed the Diaz on the end after he failed to crack it into the England senior squad and subsequently defected to Chile on the back of some spreadsheet nerd adding Chile onto him in Football manager. The absolute loser. Anyhow, he can fade back into insignificance until the next time we play them at which point I will reignite my burning hatred.
