  1. The big question is what will Wood be pointing at?
  2. Is that the limit on the Visa before MBS needs to approve?
  3. Even when he's technically out there as a fullback he's often still playing as a winger given that's what comes naturally to him. Plus it doesn't say that it is from open play.
  4. I'm already in a covid isolation sin bin, have at it. Also, fuckface is a term of endearment down here.
  5. It's going to be a bloody nervous watch, the tough part is if we don't manage to win there will be a very real effect not just on general morale but also on our ability to sign more players in this window. A victory and even a temporary break from the relegation spots is a much easier sell.
  6. I can’t be wrong, it's simple mathematics. If we're looking at something like 36-40 points for staying up 4 points is near enough 10% of the tally (assuming you get it, more if you don't). At the other end of the table conservatively you need mid 80s upwards to win, more likely mid 90s in which case you're looking at that similar 10% being 8-10 points. Also if you knew someone would say it, you wouldn't have said it yourself because it's not a great comparison, I expect better of you. Agree with the rest of your post.
  7. Freedom from the constraints of the mattress protector and the musky redolent stench of nervousness not enough?
  8. I'd offer that the difference at the other end of the table is that teams are mostly winning games, so 4 points are much easier to obtain and are a much smaller percentage of their points tally for the season. It's more like a 8-10 point lead.
  9. If we don't beat Watford what's the stance of the willy wavers? Surely not still thrust proudly forth?
  10. The most annoying part is we're still most likely to be relegated which will somehow be painted as a failure of the new owners. The reality is it's down to Ashley (and Bruce to a lesser extent) and the premier league for delaying our sale. If we were allowed to be sold in a position of relative safety the transfer windows would have been very different.
  11. It's a pretty shit question honestly. More entertaining looking at his over the top reactions than hearing what his answer would be.
  12. I use Jabra on ears for work (Evolve2 65). The battery life is incredible and the ability to mute/unmute by flicking the mic stem up/down is super useful.
  13. I also have them and recommend them. I've dropped one in the pool and it continues to work months later also left them outside overnight through heavy rain and they continue to work. Nice fit in the ear and good audio quality. You can get them for pretty cheap now also. The newer models are supposed to be somewhat better also, including the one with active noise cancellation and they are also routinely on special.
  14. At least we now have a much better understanding of how many anti-intellectualism pseudo-science followers are out there in our societies.
  15. FYI in the UK by March 2021 there had been 126,000+ coronavirus deaths, that was from 4.25 million recorded cases at the time. Since then the UK have recorded an additional 10+ million cases and have added 22,000 more deaths. So pre April 2021 if you caught covid there was an approximately 3% chance of dying (30 in 1000 cases). Since April 2021 there is an approximately 0.22% chance of dying (2.2 in 1000 cases). @Asprilla
  16. Please respond with a simple yes or no; Do you believe that vaccinations have reduced the mortality rate for those with covid?
  17. Selfish man lacks common sense and compassion. Context is everything, oh and laws, those too are somewhat relevant.
  18. The loss itself doesn't matter but the blow this does to the confidence is huge.
  19. It depends if they determine that the offside player is active in the play. I would suggest they were otherwise Shelvey could have just let it go harmlessly through to Dubravka, but it's up to the ref to determine that and going to VAR they'd probably not consider it clear and obvious.
