  1. You're lucky you're watching this live or else I was going to press send on a sternly worded letter about your lack of commitment to you.
  2. I'm not watching on my usual TV and the audio is out of sync with the visual so I hear what is happening slightly before I see it which is fucking annoying.
  3. These commentators are fucking pricks who are desperately hoping Chelsea score.
  4. Looked like Eddie just told Wilson when he'd be coming on. I'd go two pronged with both Callum and Alan on together for Wood and Willock.
  5. If I was Wilson watching this I'd be screaming in Eddie's ear to get me on.
  6. I should have slandered him and he might have put it away, I'm going pile on Wood instead - he's well off the pace in the pressing game we're playing.
  7. Multiple chances and half chances not being taken advantage of has a very ominous feeling about it...
  8. I was on the same page as you but in the last few games his awareness on the ball, positioning and distribution have been improved. He still has limitations but isn't getting caught out.
  9. ASM has shown this season that he's willing to change his way of playing to fit with Eddie's expectations. Wood's physicality is being matched and nullified here because he doesn't have the nous and he's too predictable. ASM is the exact opposite of predictable.
  10. If Wilson is not well enough to come on if I was Eddie I'd be strongly considering putting ASM on for Wood with free reign to take up his attacking position wherever he likes.
  11. I mostly agree, however in seasons past depending which team/player/ground they probably give it. Put it this way, if the ref gave it here the VAR would not have overturned it (suggested the ref have another look). His arm was away from his body though you could say that is natural, but why then is there an expectation for defenders to have their hands behind their backs or at worst by their sides in other defensive situations?
  12. The commentary are delighted to point out that for all our endeavour we've not created anything significant as though there's some expectation that we'd have piled on the goals against a team that spent a fortune on top of a squad that was already assembled for multiples of ours with wages more than double ours. Premier League by-law 167 sub-clause b: Chalobah is not permitted to concede a penalty against Newcastle no matter the nature of his infringement.
  13. Yes, Wood has to be used to create space by attracting defensive attention with Willock and potentially Joelinton moving into thay space more centrally.
