  1. That has to come with the very obvious caveat that he needs to be replaced, even if it's someone within our own ranks. He was the only striker on the bench.
  2. Would have been very soft, I think it worked in our favour that a similar claim for us was rightly left alone by VAR earlier.
  3. Ref made a rod for his own back, and like most referees too self important to correct himself.
  4. We've responded well to a strong Arsenal start, overall a good result for the first half, would have been amazing if we could have scored from that corner at the end.
  5. I can't see him sending an Arsenal player off with a second yellow at home, more likely to find an excuse for one of ours.
  6. He's showing the yellows to try to control things, but it's clearly not working, if he escalates it won't bode well for us.
  7. Ahh, the famous photo that Ant and Dec tried to get removed from the internet...
  8. Hopefully he can be sold, it'd be better for everyone if he was playing (and we weren't paying him to do so). He would have taken a significant pay increase when joining us so we may still need to shoukder some of that burden. None of this means I think he hasn't done a job for us since signing, just that the evolution of our team now makes a player like him redundant. He'll slot right in elsewhere and do a job.
  9. Arsenal alread ahead inside 2 min.
  10. Reffing was worse than poor. Didn't even think or consult linesmen or VAR when Schar was brought down in the box, contact was not shoulder to shoulder. Throughout let them foul persistently by not punishing them for it with any first half yellow cards. All that said we still should have had enough to win comfortably. Meslier made a couple of excellent saves for them, but was nowhere near on several chances that we blasted high and or wide.
  11. Agree the effort and desire was there but not the quality of finishing, or control of our temperament at the end. A big part of the latter can be apportioned to the ref who allowed Leeds to persistently foul from early on.
