Yeah Fabinho's was miles worse as it was from behind. Bruno's was belligerent based on him being cheesed off about some earlier poor calls.

Yep. He was the only player that looked dangerous when we played Everton last season. The fact that he managed to do so in such a gutless, pedestrian side speaks volumes. He's an ambitious, confident player with an engine and one thing you can't train - pure speed. He'll fit straight into our style of play and will give some balance to our attack. The other thing about watching him previously was that I really didn't like him, which is a sure sign that there's some quality about him. He'll be shithousing for us from this point forth, can you imagine how annoying that face is going to be for other teams and their supporters as we overwhelm them with our pressing and beat them.

Our business is in improving oir squad through buying who we want, not just who we can. The last who we can signings came last season. Botman, Isak, Gordon and Ashby are all players who we have tracked over multiple windows drawing the interest of the players and completing the purchases without being held to ransom. The next player in the same category is Maddison and we no doubt have plans to complete that signing in the summer. If we qualify for the champions league there will be a requirement to bring in more players so an influx of future funding will.move forward other signings. It's not hyperbole, it is genuinely difficult to sign quality players in January because clubs do not want to lose good players mid-season.

I think they're a good shout to stay up, just have to keep their noses slightly above the bottom pack. Their new signings should keep spirits up, in particular Navas is a huge signing as so often it's the defense and keepers leaking soft goals that ends up condemning teams to relegation.

You cut off the bottom: PS: Fuck sammynb

It works in his favour that it wasn't a two footed lunge, though how long he stood on the other players ankle may negate that! Uptimately I don't think it matters though, whether deemed serious foul play or violent conduct it's a minimum of a 3 match suspension. One match is for two yellows or professional foul play. The only way would be for it to be downgraded to a yellow which will never happen. I wish he got a yellow earlier in the game as surely then he would not have been so stupid.

It will all be the Saudi's/Gordon's fault too.

Exactly, it depends mostly what happens with our revenue. Our corporate income was neglected under Ashley's skeleton operation so the base potential was already not being realised. Add to that the additional interest from our vastly improved league position and our wholesale improvement in gameplay and the interest in the club internationally can only be growing at an impressive rate. On top of that we've also got all the extra attention from those who now despise us and can't keep their eyes off everything we do. It's a fucking great place to be. I didn't even mention European money above, but if we manage to claim a Champion's League spot that's a massive financial boon far ahead of schedule.

Longstaff will have to be the player who sits deeper with Bruno out for the next three games. A bit annoying when he's finally converted his advanced positioning in the box into goals but it could be worse. We've got ASM, Isak, Gordon and Murphy all in midfield who could fill in is some capacity (most likely advanced on the left moving Willock back to Longstaff's position). So it's not like we don't have any options. I feel like this might result in Gordon being given an earlier introduction thay Howe otherwise would have given him.

It's a towel.

Bruno not looking as cheeful as usual (and rightfully so) and Isak being propped up by some support staff. I was gpong to say no Fraser, but it's entirely possible he's in there.
