  1. I'm calling him Krafth 2.Eddie. Might take a while to catch on, I was trying to acknowledge that under Howe's tutelage Krafth looked a decent player even when played as CB. The remember him was for the rest of us given how long he's been out, even though he's still in our victory snaps.
  2. Technically Dan Burn should be third choice centre half. Lascelles to his credit has looked much better in the slim chances he has has this season to the degree where I'm OK with him being fourth choice. Beyond him though it would be playing Krafth 2.Eddie (remember him) at CB.
  3. I love Dan Burn, he's been a brilliant signing and his passion is contagious. There's not much better than watching a player who will bleed for his team mates and the club giving his all.... but he's not a natural left back and he offers next to no attacking impetus when he gets forward. If we want to provide more balance to our forward play we need a natural attack minded fullback on the left. We need to at least try one out. The higher your profile becomes the more teams will come at you. You get one season where there is a little leeway and opponents underestimate you - the perfect example is Leicester when they won the title, it was mostly counter attack based and still teams playing them thought they could push up and beat them only to be hit on the counter again and again. For us if you were looking for a weakness it would be the mobility of our defense, starting with Burn.
  4. Also we've been quite multi-dimensional* whilst building our impressive record and goal difference, so whilst injuries and suspension have certainly had an impact I feel that even if we were unlucky enough to lose a few key players with the matches we have left we'd be ok. * - in that we have a variety of goal scorers and type of goals scored
  5. The W D L system of analysis is outdated and redundant now that we have xP, xG, xA, xCetera.
  6. The Steven Taylor; it's a complex one, so you don't see it as often as something as basic as the Cruyff turn.
  7. Imagine the financial trouble Everton would be in without that sale. He'll be their player of the season.
  8. Schär did ok there and good support from Botman with the block, but Pope had it covered also.
  9. Plus you want to keep up the quality of the match for the supporters.
  10. He'll also be onto Trippier being so far up the pitch; Schär is not the kind of defender you want one on one as last man with acres of space in all directions.
  11. Fucking did Longstaff justbsave Dan Burn's first ever header on target?
  12. Forster on, and Sherwood and Given joking that he'll be playing in goal along with Lloris
