  1. I was saying if we draw with Brighton, beat Leicester and draw with Chelsea then Liverpool will likely have hit 71 and overcome our goal difference unless we win heavily against Leicester. The ball is still most definitely in our court, but we've shown a few times recently that we can fail to meet the occasion when there's aome additional pressure.
  2. whoops! Apart from that shocking mistake everything else still stands. A point against Brighton could potentially not count for much as there's every chance that LiVARpool overturn our GD advantage with a big score against Southampton in the last game. So to be sure, as I said 😉 we need to win two and draw one massive sigh of relief to guarantee our place.
  3. Brighton are a different team when they have something to prove. Against Everton they conceded some early unexpected goals and lost interest. We have to be ready for the Brighton that played Arsenal. If we can't beat them at home with a bit of pressure on then we're not ready for the champion's league and won't make it. Both Liverpool and Manu are not likely to drop any points in their run home, the sheer will of the FA and referees will help see to that, so we need to win two and draw one to guarantee our place. Even though Chelsea are currently fat Frank useless we do not want to be playing at Stamford Bridge needing a win on the final day. Not beating Leeds was a massive fuck up, but ultimately out destiny is still in our hands. An earlyish goal against Brighton will settle the nerves.
  4. I have seen him play quite a bit over quite a few years. He has always been held in high regard for his attacking spark and more recently his game has become very well rounded though he's still primarily about the attack. He's fast with the ball and has quick feet and a great decisive footballing head. I've already declared my excitement over this, and I'm truly hopeful on this because unlike other names that have been mentioned his wages won't be a problem and will fit into our (evolving) structure.
  5. That's the biggest concern, more often than not of late in the higher stakes matches we've been left wanting. Lacked the cutting edge here, we needed penalties to score against the worst defense in the league. I'm hoping we don't see Wilson and Isak start together again for a while.
  6. Absolutely ridiculous that, Trippier actually was pulling his leg out. Massive fucking deflection gives them some false hope of survival. If they have a competent ref and try to play like that again they'll need a plan B when their plan A is already shit.
  7. What a fucking frustrating game this has been. This is not going to be an enjoyable run in.
  8. I don't think I've seen any end product from Anderson in any of his first team games. Gets into dangerous/advanced positions and then it invariably comes to nothing.
  9. Seems that more often than not if Bruno doesn't get an early call for a free kick after going down he has a shit game thereafter, like he's trying to prove a point or something.
  10. Player on yellow deliberately handles in the box, no yellow. Keeper on a yellow picks up the ball and hurls it at players celebrating a goal. This ref is worse than amateur, let them get away with everything early and this is the result.
  11. Yes!!!!!!!! Fucking Robles, what a dick, threw the ball at our players afterwards, that should be a yellow too. Great composure Wilson.
