  1. Could be slightly off, not that it really matters.
  2. Fucking hell, we are terrible.
  3. When I saw the red tear stained complaints about the equaliser being after the match should have ended I thought they may have already been kicking off even before the celebration malarkey. The on pitch rivalry stuff is good for the game (the bottled from the crowd not so much) and even if there's loads of hyperbole around it it still makes it a somewhat fitting way for the last derby at Goodison to go. Just watched it, incredibly harsh that Doucoure got a second yellow for gesturing for the Liverpool supporters to shoosh before Jones shoved him in the back and kicked things off (from what I saw saw). Jones should have got a straight red rather than a second yellow. If Jones doesn't do that it doesn't kick off. I'm fine with Doucoure shooshing the Liverpool supporters, I'm certain he was copping 10 times worse all game and in retrun at the end. If I was Everton I'd be appealing his card for sure. If they do we can look forward to Liverpool's recap of the event where they'll highlight that Jordan Pickford was gratuitously parading about with a Culture Club hoodie.
  4. Jonas presenting Bruno with the Most Fouled Player trophy brings a tear to my eye. Even more so when it's so clear how much it means to Bruno.
  5. I only watched the 3 minutes highlights;. did Liverpool have anything to be that upset about with the equaliser? Or was it just the celebrations afterwards where it kicked off and they had tanties?
  6. And hit Pickford too. He always has trouble with shots from distance.
  7. It's in the article. The commission almost sung Tindall's praise (to the tune of Wake Me Up Before You Go Go) : The commission concluded: "The Commission considered that, given the level of provocation he had received fromthree members of the AVFC staff in the passageway, including provocation from UE, theopposing team’s Manager, JT had acted in a remarkably calm and controlled manner. Although there was clearly some verbal exchange, JT appeared to be simply attempting to walk back to the NUFC dressing room. The Commission took JT’s prior controlled and restrained behaviour in the passageway into consideration when assessing how JT may have acted in the foyer."
  8. Apart from the Wham hoodie reference my favourite bit of their tarted up account (that is effectively adjudged to be inaccurate) is this appended on the end: "It should be noted that Mr Tindall also displayed this type of behaviour last season at our match at Villa Park." Mr Emery can you please show us on the doll where he shushed you.
  9. https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/newcastle-uniteds-jason-tindall-confronted-30975523 "Both clubs and Victor Manas admitted to their respective charges, and Jason Tindall denied the allegation against him. The Regulatory Commission imposed a £30,000 fine and warning upon Aston Villa, a £20,000 fine and warning upon Newcastle United, and a two-match ground ban and £4,000 fine on Victor Manas. The Regulatory Commission found the charge against Jason Tindall to be not proven, and he will face no further action." Classic. The whole read reflects rather poorly on Villa and their staff including Unai Emery. Also appears that they were wound up by his Wham hoody and they threw in an equivalent to "he's been doing it all game ref". Poor diddums. Howe and Tindall just trying to do their jobs should not have to deal with such violence in the workplace.
  10. Now that he's got the Joelinton hair Howe was able to reinvent him. Bit taller than your average winger, but brings great physicality and directness on the strength of that game. If Wilson can stay fit Osula is more likely to get time on the pitch substituting for Murphy which is surely why Howe gave him a run there.
  11. I mean indisputably most of the ball was over the line. We're just rounding up the rest.
  12. He brings so much energy both in attack and defense. The only thing that worries me is that he would fit in at any top side around the world. He's contracted until 2028 so in a year/18 months I expect clubs to come knocking. Champions League and a contract extension in the summer would be nice.
  13. How long until our next drama and is anyone keeping a list for reference?
  14. Even on Wolfy's satellite system I'll be able to watch it well before that thanks. What's the source of the middle-aged Arab gentleman "revelation", I must have missed that somewhere along the way.
  15. I'm slightly amazed that he was able to stretch the way he did without injury to score the goal.
  16. What time is this on in Australia (the important part of the country, so AEDT) @Monkeys Fist
  17. He's capable of good, even very good games but this game was definitely not one of them. For me he tends to be a weakness more often than a strength in particular when he sits high in the box for very little return (needs too much time to shoot or pass) and blatantly doesn't have the speed to get back when there is a counter attack. Miley didn't have a great game either, but was still better than Longstaff. Take into account his age (18 v. 27) and the fact that he's not had consistent game time since he recovered from injury and that tells you everything you need to know. Also @Holden McGroin saying that Longstaff "set up the decisive goal." is hilarious. Longstaff's attempted pass/shot was blocked and Willock seized on it to score. You could say that Willock both set that goal up and scored it, so heavy was his involvement. If Longstaff's ball wasn't blocked it would have been picked up by one of the two defenders in front of Osula or the goal keeper. That said Longstaff did play a lovely through ball for Livramento where Livramento'a pass eventually resulted in Wilson's goal so he did have a key meaningful contribution there.
  18. I'm glad he was off before they started throwing their bodies about recklessly.
  19. Regardless of the levels of your fucks given, the only way to win this is to beat Liverpool.
  20. It's obviously not a better draw, but if we win it's a better win.
