I had us to finish on 38 pts - surviving only on goal difference (!), Boro, Mackems & WBA going down. I don't think I would survive such a nail-biting end of the season.

I think we will have to win one of the three remaining home games against the Top 4, because we will continue to drop points against the Stokes, Wigans and Blackburns of this world. Makes the whole task even more fucking difficult.

It's all about self-confidence. He was on a bad run without goals and missed some fantastic chances - since he's scored again, he's doing well and playing some good stuff like in today's game. Tbf to Zola he's done well too, giving the lad some confidence.

What I fear is that we're not save after 35 or 36 games. I wonder whether I could survive that...

1) I thought Cacapa, Enrique and Rozenahl were decent signings in summer 2007. 2) I didn't think expect Allardyce to win trophies, but at least I expected a decent season as nearly everyone would have been better than Souness & Roeder. 3) I thought Keegan would be in charge of the club for about four or five years, winning the FA or the UEFA Cup and then retiring. 4) I did believe Dennis Wise in February 2009 after saying KK will have the final word on transfers.

I contemplated starting a thread on here about the stuff about him on N-O, but I didn't want to raise any hackles (sp). I find some of the stuff written about him over there incredibly sad. The man is a fucking bona fide legend and some folk are treating him in the most disgraceful way. I feel sorry for them, I really do. It's a plebs board. I don't know how Jonny, Gemmill and SSR stick it out over there, it boils my piss. I'm registered on there (under a different name) and have made about 10 posts ( I think). I have a look to see if anything out of the ordinary has cropped up. I'm also registered there, but I've not posted there since six or seven months. Simply too much twats ove there.

Thats my feelings in a nutshell, I wake every morning with the hope that something monumental in the world of nufc has occurred that will end this midtable misery. And if we're realistic, this won't happen in the next three, four or maybe five years. Makes it even more depressing.

Some years ago, I always was looking forward to Saturdays after another bloody week at work. Now, I'm looking forward to every single Monday morning and hoping politics will disestablish Saturday and Sunday. I'm sick of this club and I'm sick of football. Am I just an embittered, sad person?
