Weimann would be an excellent signing. Has a good combination of pace, strength, and finishing that we've been lacking up front for a while. Seems a fair bit hardier than Gouffran. Would prefer Benteke, but I reckon he'll go to Liverpool or Spurs.

If we're still in the bottom 8 at Christmas I'd sack him. But give him until then, last season earned him that chance

Played our best football here last season. Have Cisse, Ben Arfa, and Gouffran playing quick and on the counter and we could do them. Lukaku's bound to score against us though.

We'll score around the 35th minute after playing very well, will soak up pressure at the start of the second half and maybe concede, then we'll score a second in the last 80. Definitely won't be as easy as it's looking like it'll be.

Campbell was quite good on the last touch of the match, found space on the right side and looked quick. Excited to see more of him in the last 10 minutes, especially against a team not as robust as Stoke!

That's a decent idea. Debuchy and Santon/Haidara are basically wingbacks anyway.

I get what he's saying about Sissoko to an extent, in that his surging runs where he takes the ball past several players tends to lack an end ball. But saying he has 'no consistency' is a bit much.

I'd play a mixed team bedding the the new players, the second-string, a kid or two, and a few recognized first teamers to keep everything settled. We'll get him on a free in the summer when QPR get relegated, no bother!

The idea is that Haidara will be a better back up than the likes of Raylor and Simpson and will be a better another left-footed left back on the squad, of which we have only one of right now (ferguson)

Would this be the first time HBA is given a free role, in the middle, behind a striker?
