If we payed 10 million for Colloccini, then Enrique should be going for 14 million

It seems like we have a tendency for selling players who we really shouldn't be getting rid off. I just thought I'd mention some of these players and where theyve gone off to. Add any others you see fit. James Milner: The obvious one. Now one a "top 4 breaking" Villa side. Way to go Wise. Shay Given: Man City...I dont want to talk about it Abdoulaye Faye: On Stoke, helped them stay up. A big imposing center back. How could CoLOLccini POSSIBLY be better than him?! Craig Bellamy: While we did get rid off him a while back, he's now playing for Manchester City. Couldn't we have used him over Shola? Scott Parker: Not quite sure what he's done at West Ham, but at least theyre in the prem. Jermaine Jenas: Over at Spurs, not exactly starting though. Kieron Dyer: Injured maybe? Same issue with Parker though. While a few of these players have been injured or havent had a regular first team run, surely they wouldve been better than the current crop of players we have?

We all have our reasons. Have you been a fan as long as youve lived? Only recently taken up the Toon? Well in my case, I was born in Kent and moved to America when I was 4. My granddad is Geordie, and got me a Newcastle kit once, but I never really took interest in football, being a young American lad bred in baseball. But I visited England right after the World Cup, and became really interested in football, and began fully supporting Newcastle in that season (Roeder's last season). Unfortunately I haven't been able to witness Newcastle at its finest, but now I'm hoping for a blast out of the championship! Howay the toon! Whats your story?

So im looking to buy your old newcastle jerseys and/or shorts that you want to get rid of. PM me with a price and a description of the jersey. I live in the US, but I guess that would be covered in shipping costs. Thanks!

1. Much lower than was expected. Keegan was managing, we had a nice little squad full of Argentinian and Spanish imports, things were looking good, especially with our draw at Man U. But once Keegan left, everything started going downhill, plus our January transfer window was shit. 2. Definitely the 3-1 victory over Middlesborough. So much hope. 3. A tie between the day Shay Given left and the 1-0 loss to Aston Villa. 4. I think we need to win. Thats the only way to shut up those who criticize. If you win, what can they say? 5. The high wage players need to leave (Owen, Viduka, Martins, Gutierrez, Coloccini), and we need to bring in a group of players who can take us out of the Championship, and act as a good place to build off of once we reach the Prem. And I think, if we can hold onto them, the club should build around S. Taylor, Bassong, and Beye. Those are the key players that I think have to be held onto. But we definitely need a good CM and a good striker, I think those are the main priorities, aside from keeping certain players. 6. 1st place and nothing less.

he was only going to score a certain amount of goals for us, just so happened he used all of them up in 06-07 and 07-08!
-
tbf to martins though, it was largely his goals that kept us up the last two seasons before this one...
-
Oh certainly. Couldnt do it any other way

One of the obvious problems with today's game is that the big teams snap up all the promising youngsters by offering them prestige and money. Well, in baseball and American football, there is a draft, where all the young players get picked, with the teams that had been doing poorly get the first picks. I think it would be great for something like this to happen in football, despite it possibly being almost possible to implement what with all the youth teams and the vast number of players world wide. Idk, I just think something needs to be done to make the leagues more competitive.

Stick it up her bum if she says anything!

I didn't like him anyway, whenever I'd travel to England from America he'd beg me to buy England and Man United jerseys for him. So fuck him.

What are you doing to people who laugh at our relegation? Theres a guy I'm "facebook friends" with, an Indian bloke, who considers himself a Manchester United fan. Obviously one of those who picked Manchester because he's a heartless cunt who doesnt have the balls to support a team that doesnt win all the time. Anyway, on my extremely anti-ashley, llambas, wise, michael owen, aston villa, and gareth barry facebook status, he commented "LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL". He is no longer my friend.
-
funny thing is, as the game was going to close I was thinking, "Ok, I am so going to make a MIKE ASHLEY MUST DIE thread on toontastic." But it looks like you beat me to the punch! I say we string up him, Wise, and Llabias up and let the entire Newcastle squad take shots with footballs at them until they die. The best part is that it will take forever because our players cant shoot for shit!

This is what will happen: Newcastle will beat Villa 4-0, and celebrate as if we'd avoided the drop. However, in the 97th minute at Hull, a controversial penalty will be award to Hull, which will be scored. Turns out a Man United player had simply tripped in their own box, and the referee, being so used to awarding penalties when a Man United player falls over, accidentally gave it to hull. Then in the 101st minute at Sunderland, Petr Cech, thinking the game is over throws the ball into his own net. We go down.

umm, no shit sherlock???

Might as well get a head start on the topics for next year! I'm expecting a 0-1 loss with a lineup of: Harper Raylor-Taylor-Colo-Enrique Lovenkrands-Nolan-Butt-Duff Ameobi-Carroll With the summer departures of Bassong, Beye, Gutierrez, Barton, Guthrie, Owen, Viduka, AND Martins, and with all the profit invested in a golden statue of Mike Ashley to go outside SJP, our lineup isnt quite as strong as it could be, but its ok, once we get relegated to League 1, some REAL changes will be made, youll see.
-
Very good news! I just had a go on the BBC Table Predictor, and I deduced that if we win every single game from here on out, and no one else in the league gets ANY points, then we'll win the league comfortably by 13 points!
-
Hopefully our lineup for Everton will be: -------------Harper------------- Raylor--Colo--Bassong--Enrique Gutierrez--Nolan--Butt-Duff -----------Martins--Lovenkrands Subs: Viduka Saylor Smith Sholer Xisco

HE PLAYS ON THE LEFT HE PLAYS ON THE RIGHT THAT BOY SHOLA MAKES THE TOON LOOK SHITE
-
No don't worry, we'll be back to shit in a week or so, just give it a bit.

I think if we work hard for just a few more minutes, we can pull out the draw! Come on Newcastle, you only have to concede one more!!
