  1. Especially seeing that one had to leave after a while because red came out
  2. You'll be needing these then... Two players who'd vastly improve your team. Tiote>Fellaini. Fellainis hold up is nothing compared to Tiotes. And id like Phil Neville for his experience, but a 33 year old defender, no thanks.
  3. Quickly becoming one of my favorite players, this one.
  4. I'm at a well respected uni, ill give it a go if you'd like
  5. Hes scored more goals than all three of your strikers. Even before this last weekends hat trick.
  6. Beckford only played games because of injuries. Yakubu and Saha are now fit so he won't get on much. Both Yakubu and Saha have played 9 games, only 1 goal between them. Clinical finishers, like. Couldn't care less tbh, we'll still finish miles above you. After a failed windup, ClubEverton abandons his attempt claiming he doesn't even care
  7. I wouldn't say we're not up to much, just hindered by ridiculous starts. Last season our second half form would've seem us finish 3rd. Luckily this season the bad start was just a few games, last season we were in the bottom 6 at Christmas. What difference does it make whether you have your bad run at the start or in the middle or whenever. If you're actually any good you just don't have one. Usual shit chatting tbf. I'd agree if it wasn't a regular thing but our middle and ends to recent seasons have been consistently good, just the inexplicable shitty starts. Well you mentioned last year and a shit 'start' that was still going on by Christmas. That's not a shit 'start', thats just being shit tttt. Hull we're unlucky to be relegated. If it weren't for the shit start, shit mid-season, and shit finish they wouldve been fine.

  9. Exactly. Beckford is a striker and should be scoring goals. He's made 6 starts and 3 more as a sub for a total of 9. 0 goals. Nolan has made 9 starts, 7 goals. Yes Beckford is a striker, and an awful one at that. Would you take Beckford over Nolan? Because Beckford certainly seems to be getting in your team. And sure, you can say Nolan is a midfielder but hes been playing in an advanced role all season and if he was labeled a striker I doubt that would effect his production.
  10. Yeah, I mean who could when you've got Beckford tearing it up. He's a real winner. Do you know how many more goals Nolan has than him?
  11. A breed of Argentianian poodle I believe. And Nolan has more goals than that lot combined
  12. Not Fellatio. Arteta, Cahill yes. Rodwell eventually. Not sure about Osman.
  13. Has anyone gotten fairly deep into manager mode? What is the progress of Newcastle players like Carroll, Ranger, Vuckic, Kadar, etc. Cause I really like playing with bringing up youth players, but I've heard talk that the progression system is really poor and players don't ever improve much. Can anyone attest to this?
  14. hmm.. i think its too risky. I dont think its as simple as saying those who have some pace will be good at running off the last defender. You need to be able to read the game, make those runs. Plus he would provide nothing else as a forward, no hold up play(as he has no strength), no link up play and certainly no aerial threat. I think he would be better there than as a right winger who cant put crosses in though
  15. I absolutely agree with you, I'm not expecting a win, but its not unreasonable to hope for one. As for the 3-1 loss 2 years ago, I remember feeling like we shouldve come away with more. Martins missed a penalty for being a twat and hitting it with his weak foot, and they scored their first as a result of Taylor being off injured and going right through where he would have been.
  16. I would sell Routledge, Xisco, Best, Smith, and Lovenkrands, could maybe get 4-7 million for the whole bundle, but thats probably a bit generous. Either way, take that money with hopefully more from Ashley and buy a striker. And Leazes, I think our squad has a good enough base where we CAN add to it bit by bit. Theres good chemistry, and if we improve by 1-3 players each transfer window that could see us rise quicker than you may think.
  17. Agreed, top 10, while not unreasonable would be an incredible result and should not be the expectation. Anything above 17th should be considered a success.
  18. And thats very good given your disabilities.
  19. What did Nasri say? Barton has been pretty impressive this year, not just what he's doing on the pitch but the fact he hasn't gone and twatted anyone yet. I was just waiting for him to lose it against Wolves, so long may it continue. Basically in the aftermath of De Jong breaking Ben Arfa's leg, Nasri was commenting on it and said this:
  20. Lech Poznan up 1-0 at home to Man City
  21. Thats a silly comparison to make. West Brom and ourselves are in a similar position having both been promoted. I was just saying that its not impossible to go to the Emirates and get a win, and a team I think we're better than went there and did that.
  22. Nasri's comments as well. That being said, I dont see Barton getting sent off, that aggression seems to have disappeared from his game. If he can handle Henry's beating against Wolves, I think he could survive this.
  23. Could someone PM me a link to where you have gotten the game from?
