Mike Ashley's reign at Newcastle United has been akin to cancer. It was only last season that we began to go into remission, but we aren't out of the woods yet. A new treatment is being tried this summer, and the results on the few previous patients it had been tried on was promising. However, there is no indication of how this new treatment will affect us. As a result, we will practice cautious optimism for the forseeable future. We're on our way out, and it remains to be seen whether the treatment taken this summer will continue the remission, or put us back into the danger zone.

Hey everyone, so now that its only a few months away until I'm living in London, apartment hunt mode is in full gear. I've been looking at University residences, but those are coming out to around £35/night, which is a bit much I think. Basically I need a place from July 31st until August 25th/26th. Somewhere not too far from Waterloo would be good, as I'm rubbish at waking up on time for things. Any help would be appreciated! Oh also I'll be in Newcastle around July 13th - 16th for the first time in my life. Exciting!

I absolutely love his honesty. Barton has gone from being one of my most hated players in the game 3 years ago to being probably one of my top 3 favorite players now. I completely admire the way he just gets on with it and doesn't get caught up anymore in all the drama.
