I liked that clearly intentional ricochet pass by Cabaye to Gosling.

Had a dream last night that we lost 2-1, after being up 1-0. Hope its not true, like.

The one minor benefit of him leaving is that he'll have a chance to be even more outspoken against Ashley and Llabias, and might shed some more light on what we already know is a shit situation. Still, would be gutted if he actually goes.

If they weren't hopeless at the back I would have had it right IF ALL MY PREDICTIONS WERE RIGHT I WOULD HAVE BEEN RIGHT.

Would you rather have Gyan or Ba?

Did we have a better playing staff at the start of the season?

Yes it is well done? If its weakend by a lesser harmony, well, its not as strong is it? /edit. I am assuming you were aiming your post at me? Correct, but you said 'this weakens are squad from the start of last season', which wasn't the question haha. -
I think we're one or two players from being a good side to be honest. Our midfield is definitely top 10 quality, and with a new left back I'd say our backline is as well. Adding a new striker could definitely push us over the edge from being lower half of the table to top-10, imo.

The question was, 'Is our squad stronger than at the end of last season', I believe. -

If the front line and midfield are improved, it's only slightly. The back line is severley weakened by the loss of Enrique though. Not watched any championship football, but the reports I've heard about Nolan have been glowing. Tbf, the only game I've seen was the West Ham v Leeds one, but in that he was quite bad. Missed a sitter right in front of goal, and was huffing and puffing his way into oblivion. His impact on the game was negligible. -

The only major depreciation is with Enrique, as Ryan Taylor is nowhere near a suitable replacement. I was gutted about Nolan when he was sold, but having watching in play for West Ham against Leeds, he was practically invisible. I love him as a player and a captain, but perhaps it was wise to not be saddled with him for the next 3 years. That said, we've added Ba, and not lost any strikers, so by default that has made us stronger in that area. So my vote goes to stronger, as much as it pains me to say Ashely and Pardew have done something somewhat decent in this transfer window. -
haha no worries, it happens!

Added. If it's not in this thread chances are i won't add it to the OP. It is. Bottom of page nine

We've won the second game of the season in four consecutive years now, with the last three being fairly spectacular results. 1-0 vs Sunderland. 6-0 vs Villa 3-0 vs Reading (Shola hattrick) 1-0 vs Bolton.

My predictions got lost in the shuffle I think, so here they are so HF can add them! Cabaye will have at least 7 assists. We won't have a single player score more than 10 goals. Ben Arfa will make less than 15 league appearances. Nile Ranger will spend some time this season at another club, either on loan or as a transfer. By the end of the season, at least half of our starting 11 will speak French. We will make it to the semi-finals of a Cup. Lovenkrands and Best will be our starting forwards for at least one league game. Vuckic, Ferguson, and Sammy Ameobi will score their first Premier League goals for us this season. Ranger will not.

not a prediction, Deadman.
-
Correct on all of that. To be fair though, we were somewhat lucky Cabaye wasn't sent off for his tackle on Bardsley. But the fact is Sunderland could have easily been down to 8 or 9 men.
-
The French reports were right last time with Cabaye. Lets hope it goes through again!
-
Yes. Had a couple of horrific touches, and gave away the ball every time it came to him. Tbf though he was playing on the wing.
-
I'd let Coloccini shag my wife, but I'd let Cabaye shag me

Ahh gotcha. Yeah unfortunately I don't follow the American league that much, keeping up with the Mets is hard enough! It was always a long shot for them to make the playoffs this season, and once they traded Beltran it was pretty much over. I like the new administration though, and if they can keep Wright and Reyes I'm sure they can challenge in a year or two! Oh also, I've never done this, but if you want to do an FMLive game or something where you take Maribor and I take Olimpija, I would definitely be up for that!!
