Is that Newcastle in the Europa League? Did they win a cup? Or just make it to the finals?

Leazes slating someone for moaning too much? Brilliant. -
Apparently its because Pato's move to PSG fell through
-
It is! He confirmed its him, posted a 'I am not Paul Wyn'-esque with a picture of him holding a paper with the name of his twitter account on it.

Funny how ITV describes Ivory Coast vs Burkina Faso as a 'key game'

Apparently Liverpool have just put in a £40 million bid for this Prior fellow.

Ben Arfa playing wide ride. A collective orgasm washes over the country of Norway. -

This'll be just like the Carling Cup game. Probably will end 3-2 or 4-3 or something. -

Newcastle may delay striker signing until summer

No one has ever said that. -
Yeah McD's is where the real money is at
-
He isnt from puerto rico though is he. He has a history of this. Of racially abusing players? When? And the thing I quoted isn't saying Suarez is in the right, its saying the exact opposite. The point is that the word 'negrito' in Latin America is only used endearingly among friends, and would not be said to someone who you're not familiar with.

I really feel pity for Kean. He's such a sad figure, and you can tell that all of the chants against him are really taking a toll on him. He comes across as completely pathetic, and its sad

Carroll`s career so far in Liverpool

They'll probably field a slightly weakened lineup as the play Manchester City in the cup just 4 days later. Should be interesting regardless. -
Yeah, I seem to do poorly with teams like that. Probably because I'm rubbish at tricks and such, and I get done by the fast pace which I'm not used to. Also we should get a Toontastic league started again like what was attempted for FIFA 11. Could be fun.
-
Yeah definitely. You're hiphopopotamus on XBL, right? Ive been relegated 2 or 3 times I think, but when I was in the lower division. I really dont mind playing with Newcastle tbh, I play better with them than anyone else, bar maybe Napoli and Lille. The changing of the lineup is quite annoying but I really just bring in Santon, Marveaux, and Ben Arfa for Raylor, Obertan, and Best, and that seems to be alright. I think theres definitely something to be said for playing with a team you know very well and are familiar with. Like I know the strengths and weaknesses of each Newcastle player thoroughly, which makes a huge difference I reckon.

Anyone do the Head to Head leagues? I made it to the 2nd division last night, and I think im rated around 40,000th in the world at the moment. Really addicting this mode, im just hoping I can make it to Division 1!

Blackburn we did. Wolves and West Ham last season we did. If I recall in the second half against Blackburn we weren't as strong as we were in the first half. I'll give you Wolves, but West Ham I would still consider that Hughton's team to an extent.
-
Was still poor. Several times when ball went out for throw in he just had his back to the ball - didn't want it. Has poor end product - cannot fathom why he starts over Ben Arfa who is by far our most gifted player. The game was crying for him to come on today but chose Shola over him. Beggars belief. On a brighter note I thought Santon looks a class act - considering how much he has played this season he was excellent. Tbf thats not on him. It seems that Pardew wants the fullbacks taking all the throws. Jonas doesn't take throws either, and neither didnt Barton last year if irc.
-
A worrying trend under Pardew is that we never seem to be able to kill off a game. We play decently in the first half usually (today, Stoke, Blackburn), or when we're chasing the game (Arsenal last season), but when we have a lead and need to put it beyond doubt we just can't seem to do it.
-
Agree with this. If we get 6 from the next two (which is very gettable imo, West Brom are decent away from home but I'd still fancy us and Bolton are woeful wherever) and get through the cup I won't mind the two games against L'pool and Man U returnign zero points. This is just one of those results that we have to remember how we dominated, and keep in mind the context of the result. I'm not scared of the Man U game. They'll be without Vidic, and given his injury record its possible Ferdinand will pick up a knock over the next few fixtures. If we play like we did before Jonas got sent off at Old Trafford we could certainly nick a point or all three.
-
Perch wasn't awful tbh. Didn't have much to do, but made a few good interceptions and kept the ball away from Graham well a few times.
-
Completely ran out of ideas in the second half. We were playing like we did with Carroll -- getting it out wide and crossing it in hoping something hits. And what the fuck does Ben Arfa have to do to get a game in?
