  1. The players dont like him.......................? What a sack of shit. Who the fuck did you find that out from? The club has money available, but unlike certain other premiership sides it was decided that rather than buy somebody just because some fat agent thought they were good, they held on to the cash. Paul Ince tried to buy two players, both from Villareal on deadline day - but got knocked back. 'The Guvnor' leaving because the players dont like him......PLEASE. Is he taking his ball home too?
  2. No one knows. Rumours and chinese whispers is all we really have. Tell you summet - there is never a dull moment being a Toon Fan eh?! Good luck with whatever happens - you deserve much better
  3. Word has it that last night you were trying to do a deal for a Barton + Cash swap for Stephen Warnock. Rovers knocked you back no less that 6 times, in the end it was a straight cash deal, but just not enough. Is this one of the things that has pissed off KK? All I can say is Thank Fook the deal didnt happen..........!
  4. I thought that at first (and he is a journalist, so thats a bad start!), but he has actually come good with his info to us. Having said that, I read the Mirror yesterday and it was full of shit! Having said that, his report on the Dingles getting stuffed by Sheff Wed 4-1 last Saturday was the work of a genius
  5. 8 Million? Christ, I think Hughes has lost the plot. Apparently he has made the bid to give Citeh some credibility and prove he has money to spend - twat. We have the honour of a tabloid journalist posting our independant message board - check out www.brfcs.com and go the the thread named 'Nickos Thread' - although it focusses on BRFC, he does tend to answer questions posed by other fans - maybe he has some good news you dont yet know about! Good luck to you guys this season - it sounds like we will both need it.
  6. He was hardly ever injured for us last season, so you've no worries there. I would be gutted if he goes - he is very composed and quite skillful for a LB - his only problem can be when he gets a bit giddy and strays forward too much. I am more worried about the rumours down here that you are going to stage a massive bid for Santa Cruz - much larger than the paltry £12M offered by the Thai Twats
  7. I cant remember feeling as nervous about a new season as I do now - everything seems to have fallen apart - maybe it will be a good thing....? I would be gutted if warnock leaves - he is not the best footballer but he is a great defender. Keep yer hands off!
  8. Reading that has just cheered me up - who the fook is gonna get your goals this season? The jury is out on Ince but I will back him. As for Hughes.......... I bet he is looking in the job section this weekend!
  9. Getting a lot of conflicting messages regarding Steven Warnock. Have you lot made another bid? It looks like he has made it clear that he wants to leave (and come to Newcastle) but has not yet handed in a transfer request. What with this going on and that nob head Hughes trying to poach Santa Cruz, on top of Friedel leaving for Villa, its been a fookin stressful time and we havent kicked a ball yet! All quiet up there with you lot - I thought Keegan would be flashing the barcode dollars around.......... Good luck for the new season anyway
  10. If he does come DKN, then myself and pals are already resigned to losing him to you (if he is successful!) after a few years. I am conviced that in that time he can really make a positive impact on everything to do with the club, so he gets my vote. I will boycott Ewood if either rubber face allardyce gets the job (and the only even thinking about hime getting the job is himself -arsehole), or goats teeth McClaren (oh diddums, he wants to try and make amends for me being sat here at home rather than in switzerland watching England - well fuck off) Good luck for next season.
  11. Ince could be a good call - just a different risk. All sortos of stuff in the rags about a mass exodus from Ewood. See ya later Mr Bentley - if we get £15,000,000 for you I will carry you to Spurs on my back to make sure you go. Latest: ALAN SHEARER/THE JOB - has been contacted and is interested in the job. His name will go onto the list that should be drawn up tomorrow. The next thing is to decide who to interview. Some are easier than others, Big Sam is gagging for it , Paul Ince is telling people it's him and Steve McClaren is waving his brolly at anyone looking. Henk Ten Cate will NOT take the Panathinaikos job for a week as he waits for the process to work out. Michael Laudrup has had a mention but I don't know of any contact with him. It's a fair list of candidates - there could be others I've missed - but the interesting bit is how they handle Shearer. Would he be interested in being on a list? Or would he have to be offered the job? That is the next stage... ROQUE - Arsenal are the club with the biggest interest. I said last week that one of his agents was getting busy and Wenger does have an interest. But it depends on [a] Adebayor being sold and a decision between Roque and Gomis at St.Etienne. Wenger will watch him at the Euros if he plays. Man U have other targets and the Ronalso crisis to work through. Shame for them... BENTLEY - I believe there is very little chance of him going to Man City. SAMBA - Obviously unsettled a bit, but he will soon get over it.
  12. There are no guarantees that any great footballer would make a great manager. I agree - but I also think that there is as much chance of success, just because you can never tell how good / bad anybody is going to be with a certain set of players. With a full squad of very large egos it must be a tough job for anyone and I think its about the character of a person, as much as it is about their CV as a manager. Shearer will come to you fully trained up to do a good job - dont worry, we wont make him into another Souness!
  13. I think Newell would be part of Shearers staff - he is Ok for a scouser! do you not think he would rather be manager though? btw is that Glen whatshisname in your avatar?? I think Newell would like to run the show, but he was good pals with Shearer and migjht like to have a joint bash at it. the avatar? Its Simon Garner - the best player I ever saw in a Rovers shirt - until Alan Shearer came along.
  14. I think Newell would be part of Shearers staff - he is Ok for a scouser!
  15. Its looking like Alan Shearer is emerging as one of the favourites and has already held informal discussions with John Williams at Rovers training ground. For me, its one big sigh of relief that the only person bigging up aLARDyce's job prospects is the fat twat himself! It would be a brilliant (and very risky) appointment for us - but its obvious now that we would be training him up until he is ready to take the helm at Sid James Park. What do you think?
  16. Not quite true - some clowns with no recollection of watching the best player ever to play for us were the only ones booing. The fact that Shearer told a few lies probably didnt help........ Singlehandedly won us the premiership? Erm - Sutton, Flowers and a few others might have something to say about that! Maybe just a sensible post is beyond you What lies did he actually tell btw? Just a genuine question as I really can't remember at the time. He was sporting the new Rovers kit in the local rag and was on the radio quashing rumours that he was about to leave. To give a general quote: 'i will be at Brockholes (our training ground) along with the other players as usual. I am committed to BRFC. I think it kicked up a stink because a lot of the new kits were printed with his name on, and it went out of date after a week!! The best player I ever saw at Ewood - EVER - BY A MILE. We will train him up and you can come and get him again in two years! Maybe he was committed though until an offer was accepted. I do remember him saying before that he'd always wanted at some point to play for his hometown club. You got his best years anyway, we only got 1 year of the Shearer we signed. You think so? he always looked amazing to me - years after he left us. Good luck for next season.
  17. OK - just as long as you dont fob Keegan off on us. That would just not be fair!

  20. What a waste of that playing surface it will be if that wrigleys chewin twat gets the job - I will need a fucking neck brace. Shitbolloxtwattinbastardshit day.........................
  21. So that will be why he agreed to join you then eh? FYI - Allardyce is in for the City job now. Rovers have not approached the ugly twat and probably will not. Word has it that an announcement will be made tomorro. Hughes to Chelsk is fav.
  22. Hope you are right. Sorry about Souness!! Pig face as manager - god help us...............
