  1. On what basis are Tottenham more attractive than Everton though? Team wise pretty equal. Fanbase wise both mediocre and equal. History wise Everton have them. I can't understand why Moyes would want to leave Everton for a club like them, he might as well go to West Ham or Fulham, unless he wants a London move. One word. Spending power. Isn't that two words? Its a sad day when you find out Triggy is quicker than you. Its tough to tell when people have their tongues in their cheeks during message board banter. Maybe you should think about that otherwise you may come across as a sad pedant trying to look clever.
  2. Dawson hasn't got a bad bone in his body. Absolutly no intent whatsoever, his leg rolled across the top of the ball. he was fully commited that was all.
  3. Levy. Could you elucidate a touch? Levy as a CEO of a PLC is a fantastic. Under his tenure we have begun to turn an operating profit and we have no real debt. However football is a business unlike any other. The forces of competition do not apply. Fans cannot go elsewhere. He has continually jacked the prices up to a point where a lot of the old guard are being priced out of the game. His transfer policy is to squeeze every penny out of every last deal, buy and sell to maximise profit for the club at the expense of the playing staff. Arshavin was there for the taking as was Militio during the summer but instead he ended up playing hard ball and losing both. We end up sellling the crown jewells on deadline day and replacing him with a cup tied russian who has played a season already and teenage loanee. Agreed. Personally I think Commoli is also partly to blame. Doesn't have a strong enough personality for me, as he really needs to stand up for the needs of the playing side. Am I reading this right? He has been given a role: To buy young players who are going to apreciate in value. To be fair, we are turning a profit on almost every sale so that seems to be working relatively well. However we are getting left with the players that nobody wants. And he is supposed to be getting in decent replacements with the profits. So far his signings have been a mixed bag.
  4. Define swipe? If it is, brush away a hand, then yes. I'd say swipe would mean more like a stroke. But please elaborate on the concept of "swipe" Make contact with the ref by swinging an arm at him.

Everton are proper skint. We are not. They expect to be bought very soon. I am sure they do with Bill Kenwright begging for a buyer to come forward. Until they get PP for a new ground I doubt it will happen. Why use abbreviations, someone browsing this board might think PP is Puppy Power, Pen!le Problems, where is the harm in writing planning permission? busy, busy, busy Stevie.

  9. The idea that any of the highlighted managers would take the Tottenham job, the fact they've even been put in the poll proves how deluded they are. Klinsmann he's going to leave one of the biggest clubs in Europe, for a team not in England's biggest 8 right oh Hughes biggest spending budget in world football to scrapping about for 19 year old loanees from bigger club Hiddink stop it Mourinho stop it ahahahahaha me ribs feel like I've been 12 rounds with Joe Louis Rijkaard incredible I think it is a poll of who people would like, not who they think will be next.
  10. This board shows your the 'plum' of Tottenham? Not quite what I was alluding to. Why dont you suppport your local team? Clearly I am a glory supporter. If I was supporting my local team, I would support Arsenal. Where do you live? Between Bounds Green and Muswell Hill. My dad supports Newcastle so I support them. He lived in Newcastle and went to Durham uni, this was about 25years ago. About half way inbetween TBF. Seeing as you are a Haringey boy, you should have really done the right thing.

  13. He already has, hasn't he? I think he means Moore.

  15. Every team has their plum supporters, as this board shows.
  16. Deadline day for loans is the same as perm transfers. All moves afterwards need special dispensation.
  17. Surely he cant join Milan until Jan? The Pompey Milan game is in November.
  18. So the ref was wearing light blue? And had long hair? and had Woodgate written on his back. Do me a favour, there is no comparison with what Duff did. Think you'll find the bloke in black is using his right forearm to hold Jenas away from him. This being after Jenas' left hand appearing to be pushing against the referee. Woodgate pushes Jenas away after all this happens. On second look BTW, Woodgate is innocent - he pushes his own players away, doesn't touch the referee. Jenas however is as guilty, if not more than Duff. HA HA I have watched that back three times and I cant see Jenas make contact with the ref one, certainly not taking a swipe like duff did.

  20. What??? No where near as bad. Certainly no raising of hands to the ref like Duff did. Watch it again d!ckhead. Clear raising of the hands Contact like duff taking a swipe at the ref?
  21. What??? No where near as bad. Certainly no raising of hands to the ref like Duff did. 'Nowhere' btw. When you go to parties and find yourself standing alone, this is why.
  22. What??? No where near as bad. Certainly no raising of hands to the ref like Duff did.
  23. Almost as well as you have all avoided talking about the incident in question. The fact that no one has tried to defend the players behaviour tells me all I need to know. but dont worry, with sky on your side nothing will come of this.
